    Hi everyone!
Please could someone post me the link to the comfort coupon?
    Can't find it :(
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

TBH with her it is just an excuse, I know she would have no problem finding a baby sitter if she put any effort into it.

I'm just so irritated, I didn't WANT to be the one to arrange it as I didn't feel bothered, I asked for everyone's dates 4 times between september and now (september for october, october for november etc) and each time there wasn't a single date that even 4 out of 6 could make (even three proved impossible), so I gave it a final go a couple of weeks ago and FINALLY got a date together for this Monday.

Now two of the five that said yes have said no/I can't stay long. I really really battle my depression at this time of year and this sort of thing really gets to me, I feel like becoming a hermit :(

Oh sorry, that was another rant wasn't it? I'll shut up now and get back on topic! :A

    Don't invite her again!!
The admin on the coupon thread close it and start a new one every few thousand posts which is a bit overkill in my opinion:eek:

It was you that suggested starting a new thread last night...twice!!

8,000 posts is a lot more than 2 or 3,000 and the excuse they give on the coupon thread is the more posts a thread has the more the forum slows down.

Anyone still got a leg of lamb in the freezer from DTD days ?

Similar legs are "on offer" at the moment.

Never mind that, I'm not arranging the whole thing again, some other mug can take responsibility!

Are we starting a new thread then?

  • Ooh it's so wild up here! Half our fence has blown down and some of the neighbours' as well. Just hope the big trees withstand the gusts. This is definitely the biggest storm I've seen up in Scotland for a few years. Just a warning - if you have a trampoline, try and anchor it or tie it t o a tree. Stay safe everyone.
