My sister once put some shoes on that had a slug inside it. It must have come indoors on her shoe then crawled into the end.
Even worse than the sensation of squishing it with your toe was the fact that it STAINED her toe nail

    Eeeeewwww! Green?

Just got back from my local extra - B*rnst*ple T*w V**w , and just to let you know they have over ridden the price of the "Riverway" sausages, so if you are thinking of buying and getting DTD just be careful - as if they can do it here, so can other shops

I did how ever see a lindam bed guard and managed to scan it and its still coming up at 60p, but didn't need it so left it, just thought i would scan it "because I can", and also to let others know its still extremely cheap.

Oooooh and the best news of all - all three instore scanners are working at long last, only been waiting 4 months for them to get them fixed, the CDM is still 34p so i picked up a few bars but left another two full boxes they also have loads of the "Dorman" nuts so happily availed myself to 3 packets of them as well.

"Baby in my pocket" - i found one of these and it scanned at 70p

If any of this has already been posted - SORRY - but thought i will keep you all updated before i try and plough through god knows how many pages.

Yup, not venturing out in that for ANY glitch!

Place is warm but I don't want to turn off the boiler as if the power goes off I won't get it on again. At least with it on it should stay running. :)

The wind is hitting my windows and I hear them creaking and groaning.

Just had a lovely baked tattie and Heinz Mini Meal followed by jelly and custard for desert. :)

Lights have been flickering for the last 10 minutes, thankfully the laptop battery is charged so if it does go off, I can at least watch a film or something.

Need to dig out the candles...

    whoopsied crupets with cheese

nothing to report from lex (local express) (mex =metro) lexa = extra)
got 1.5 kg of clementines for £1.50 short date kids love them

drinking t own brand unleaded coffee is very nice and only £1.30 for 100g v nescafe rip off prices.

Is properly windy here in south london, usually not so bad as the building give cover, not today.
Back to square one, no apg, no comment.

Good boy, stay safe and snugged up:T:TLove going to bed at night when its windy as I've got a loft bedroom and the wind howls round the roof. It's lovely being all snuggled and warm when it's windy outside;)

Did a Mr T detour on the way home from work. Not sure if I got the right Riverway sausages, but they scanned at £2 for me.

Did find some 1p items though -Harrys peanut, Dormans Spicy peanuts, Dormans Satay mix, and green tea. Plus a lone pack of Dormans pistachios for 38p. The store didn't have a price checker, so that was a right pain.

Just got a £15 money card come via the postie, after I emailed about the trout that told me the onus was on me to check the date on the bogof sticker!!!

How long did you have to wait for a reply? I emailed on Monday, but apart from an acknowledgement saying someone would personally contact me ...zilch. I was expecting a phone call, but maybe they will write instead?

I emailed a complaint on Tuesday and today I got an email from them saying:

Thank you for contacting Tesco Customer Service. We are very sorry for the delay in our response.

Due to the popularity of ‘The Christmas Clubcard Voucher Exchange’ we have experienced very high customer contact volumes, and haven’t been able to answer your email as quickly as we would like.

We know that many of our customers have already called us and had their query resolved. However, if you are not one of these customers and still need to speak with one of our team, we have set up a helpline to fast track you to one of our Customer Service Managers. For Customer Service queries, please call 0800 0723302 and for Clubcard queries, please call us on 08000 723627. This will ensure we can resolve your query in the shortest possible time.

I called the freephone number and have a £5 gift card winging it way to me as we speak.
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.
