Yep, very useful for squashing cars too.:eek::eek:

    OMG what happened?

I know what you mean, my friend's husband had a big posh black pick-up truck, great monster of a thing it was, he wasn't going fast at all down a country road, the tractor pulled out slowly and went over his front wheel arch because the driver didn't see him.

It wrecked the wheel and the front of the truck and smashed part of the door and window. Her husband was fine luckily.

Also very lucky and one of those things that proves everything happens for a reason. It was the road my friend took to see her family in Malmesbury in her little Mini Cooper, a road she's since stopped taking as she realises, had that been her, she might not have got out alive!

I`m not getting into a big debate,it`s up to you,but that doesn`t make it right for me.
Sorry I just need to respond to your "creamed at least £150 "I feel sorry for the people over charged,I really do but you can`t feel it is right for them to be out of pocket and you £35 up?
No harm is meant by this post.If you are happy with claiming DTD then all well and good, but I`m not.It takes all sorts in the world.

Agree, without getting into debate/reasons as to why.

Sorry HappyChappy, meant to say, yes I do remember the Foot and Mouth outbreak, around 2000/1 I think it was? It came very close to our farm but we didn't get it thank god!

oooh, I can't remember exactly when, I started on the farm in Jan 98, it was only supposed to be for a few weeks while the other guy went for an op. £2 an hour (cash in hand) the tight sod paid me. I had to cycle to work in all weathers, worked late nearly every night, sometimes during the harvest I would work 3 or 4 days nonstop grabbing 5 minutes sleep whenever possible. Officially I finished working on the farm in 2002? when the boss died but I did go back an odd time to help his wife out. She was a horrible horrible woman and I couldn't wait to get away after her hubby died but once he died she turned into the nicest person ever.

Awh I do feel for you kadison, but b4 falling out with her or being really angry maybe she has another reason why she doesn't fancy it?
I know I have used the babysitter excuse b4 when I had a really good reason not to be going but I didn't feel ready to tell my friends at the time. When I did tell them they totally understood. ( my DH was very ill, but I know friends who are in th eearly stages of pregnancy also use excuses ).

Go an enjoy you nite as you had planned, don't let it ruin your nite, if she is just making it up then she wouldn't of been much fun if she was there ( cos she didn't want to be there ) !

    Have fun !:D

TBH I am a very moody/depressive person so I don't tell people how I feel unless I'm 100% certain I would feel like it in a rational frame of mind, most of the time I know it's the depression talking.

The one with the babysitter trouble is just Mrs Unreliable 2001-2011 (how long I've known her), she always has an excuse of some sort, or she just doesn't turn up!

I won't go if I feel like this on the day, I can't hide my emotions at all so I'd be better off not going than going and upsetting people.

Hope your DH is ok now?

  • How much is a big bag of dog food to be able to use the voucher?

It depends where you buy it, anywhere between £38 and £50:eek: but for that coupon only selected retailers will take them (you have to choose the store you will redeem it at when you sign up for the coupon)

a typical bag on the pets at home site is £51 on offer for £41 so if you can use voucher as well £31 for 15kg. assuming prices in store are the same.
or 7.5 kg for £28.50 less voucher
