But makes you see who your real friends are

Ps when one of my friends said no babysitter I cAlled her bluff and said well we will all come to IRS for a takeaway then - funny but a babysitter was soon found!

TBH with her it is just an excuse, I know she would have no problem finding a baby sitter if she put any effort into it.

I'm just so irritated, I didn't WANT to be the one to arrange it as I didn't feel bothered, I asked for everyone's dates 4 times between september and now (september for october, october for november etc) and each time there wasn't a single date that even 4 out of 6 could make (even three proved impossible), so I gave it a final go a couple of weeks ago and FINALLY got a date together for this Monday.

Now two of the five that said yes have said no/I can't stay long. I really really battle my depression at this time of year and this sort of thing really gets to me, I feel like becoming a hermit :(

Oh sorry, that was another rant wasn't it? I'll shut up now and get back on topic! :A

In my opinion Hills Vet Essentials is the best, for senior cats especially, my kitties are thriving on it, admittedly it's on the expensive side but my vets often have 3 for 2 offers on it to bring the price down so price per feed per cat I think it works out at around 50p.

Re comfort coupons, I was printing the entire page each time and using my guillotine thing to cut the persil and comfort ones off, saving the persil ones for a price drop! Didn't have any problems but did use a lot of paper, mind you since I got a haul of 35 bottles over the offer period, I saved £26.25 so don't mind a bit more paper and printer ink! :D

I did wonder lol! I grew up on a farm, tractors are so useful for so many things besides farming. My mum and I both had Peugeot 205s, hers red, mine white, as mine was older it failed to start a lot in the colder months. My dad used to tow me backwards up the long farm drive with my car in first, worked brilliantly, we also did it up the drive with the car in reverse lol!

Very mild and boring here, hope everyone else in Scotland is faring well?

Yep, very useful for squashing cars too.:eek::eek:

Awh I do feel for you kadison, but b4 falling out with her or being really angry maybe she has another reason why she doesn't fancy it?
I know I have used the babysitter excuse b4 when I had a really good reason not to be going but I didn't feel ready to tell my friends at the time. When I did tell them they totally understood. ( my DH was very ill, but I know friends who are in th eearly stages of pregnancy also use excuses ).

Go an enjoy you nite as you had planned, don't let it ruin your nite, if she is just making it up then she wouldn't of been much fun if she was there ( cos she didn't want to be there ) !

    Have fun !:D
