Its not about what is right or wrong, but about how any particular SA or store interpets it. Personally I think getting 30 bottles in one go is taking the P and I've been couponing a long time! Its about keeping your head below the radar so to speak. I'd have spread it around more to be honest.

TBH I was planning on doing a run of 2 x 5 bottle transactions at one till and then straight away again at another HOWEVER I had limited time before I had to catch a train to London and the queues were horrendous, so I thought "s*d it!" and put it through in 2 x 10 instead, cashier read through the ts&cs then didn't blink an eyelid after she'd satisfied herself that I wasn't breaking any rules.

Staying well below radar now though, just in case *looks around sheepishly and a little paranoid*

    Morning/afternoon all

Had a T free day yesterday but may have to nip down to one of the locals later ;)

I popped into M's this morning as I wanted to get some of the Roses cartons they have on B1G2F (so 3 boxes for £4). I know we have all probably got chocolate stashes everywhere but will just mention in case anyone needs any that M's also have Cadbury selection boxes (medium size I think - £2.99) on B1G2F as well. :) HTH

Also, am I right in saying that the comfort voucher can no longer be downloaded..... I think I need to start using some of the coupons available (haven't really used them before) as I'm very impressed with the savings you all make! :T

Have a good day everyone, keep safe and warm :)

Starting to get a bit wild now though!! Not looking forward to walking into town later to drop my DD off and go to work!

:eek: the lights have just started flickering! A power cut is what we need, then I wouldn't have to go to work ;) :rotfl:

Aye, it's getting really wild here too, might fill up a flask cos we are normally first in the queue when it comes to power cuts! Oh well, at least I'll have an excuse for not doing the ironing :D

As above, please please complain, it's the only way they know what is really happening. Staff are in obvious need of training and customer service skills![/QUOTE]

what a horrible experience...and how bl00dy rude of them to accuse you of fraud without even looking into it first!
I used my comfort coupons at one store fine...then tried again later the same day,in the same store and was refused to combine them with the price flop ones...was told it doesnt matter what HO says, its down to store discretion.

Today i went to use the rest of my price flop ones combined with various Bold peony and Persil ones...asked the SA if she'd put them all through together or would prefer me to do separate transactions...she rang for assistance...cash office person came and agreed to accept the persil ones with the price flop ones...then along came another SA who said cant use them unless they are SafeTick coupons...explained thats not true....she said its the Cash office people that decide...SA serving me told her ok thanks and she left...then the SA said as the Cash Office man had just agreed to accept them she would ignore the other SA and just accept them....it really does depend on who serves you, in what store and what colour socks they're wearing at the time....utter madness!!! :)

Complaint has been written and emailed to phil. Putting all the detail in as I briefly outlined it on here has wound me up again.

Theres no issue using more than 1 coupon, you should claim DTD if you have been overcharged.

When I bought my chickens, i knew I would be overcharged so I bought 5. Yet how many people saw them marked as half price, paid, and went home without checking their receipt, quite a few I'd imagine as the massive shelf was only half full when I got their.

SO tesco may have given me £35 back and 5 chickens but I reckon they creamed at least £150 in my store off people who didnt check their receipt. So even after my refund they are still £115 up.
:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
