I went back and tried it again to double check and it definitely works, i also used a £1 off household coupon from the price drop mag. I got 10 bottles plus a pack of andrex washlets, used a 50p off coupon and a £1 off so spent £3.60 on 10 bottles of bleach and a pack of wipes. not bad i thought. Hope this helps someone

Of course not, Frank Thornton was really lovely, if not a bit frail. I shook his hand & told him it was a pleasure to meet him & did he mind if I took a picture, as you can see he was quite willing.

tried to buy this yesterday evening. absolute fool SA denied me the sale saying it needs to be sent back to HO as its a pricing error, i told the chap to ring HO so we can get the matter sorted right now as its discontinued stock. DENIED! SA then tried to persuade me that it wasnt discontinued and that there was 5 more in stock. i told the SA he was a liar (bit harsh but went with my gut instinct) and that i wanted him to show me stock levels, tried to convince me he doesnt have to!!
so basically i said you must be lying if you dont want to prove to me that your not! and low and behold finally he let me check the stock level with barcode, shaking like a leaf/ (1 in stock)!!! still denied sale left a very angry man!:mad::mad::mad: but nvm plenty more glitches/ discontinued lines to be had

i dont know where i stand in terms of buying this item? being lied to? i dont know whether i should complain to head office? any advice would be much appreciated and will be gretly received, HTH

Actually I'm trying to catch up for 3 days, maybe I didn't actually see what you said if its like I hear on the terraces, :eek:there are no terraces anymore its all seating now, elf & safety

I managed to pick up some Cornish fudge today, the first time I've seen it, but the DTD is not great any more. The SEL says £1.36, the box 3 for £2, but they scan at 95p, so pay £2.85, get £1.70 dtd, total cost £1.15 unlike when they scanned higher and you got them free and money off your shopping.

I did manage to get a Mrs Peeks cake though, P8rth by the footie stadium has loads on the shelves and boxes on the top shelf too, so fill ya boots with £2 xmas cake!!
