Just back from B41d0ck. Bright starts cot mobile stickered half price at £12.50 went thro @ £24.96. Nice lady at CS gave me £25 back and explained DTD. Called someone to tell them that they were going thro at the higher price - so that they could sort it out! (T speak for removing the stickers). Shame only one left on the shelf with sticker already removed! Three other stickered ones had a little journey to the bottom of the aisle with baby bedding! BS tummy thingies also had half price stickers on them. HTH I was originally looking for the FP one that OP had said about.

    You've changed your username !!!! I wouldn't have noticed but I recognised Bertie ;);)

Confused me too, I thought someone had pinched your piccie :rotfl:
silvercar, how could have you walked away? i would be standing there, peering in to see what the toy/game was,the price, and waiting for a result. then i would fill my trolley with the toy/game and kicked off as well :rotfl::rotfl:

I was listening to a manager and a SA talking about loo rolls the other day. The sa was standing there with his pricechecker machine and kept showing the manager what was happening when he scanned it.I was desperately trying to see what it said on his machine but couldnt see so resorted to getting up close and personal and listening. Until I realised they were talking about the loo roll in pakistan or indian:rotfl::rotfl:

Hi all, back from Sw**d0n extra, tried to find the precious planet mobile with no luck :( but I did get a price check on the precious planet press-piano, SEL is £49.99 but it scans at £29.99, not exactly a massive bargain but still quite a saving!

    Got some fab whoopsies however.....

    • Finest pack of 3 pot au chocolat with orange 62p down from £2.50
    • Finest butter mash 62p down from £2.50
    • Tenderstem Broccoli 43p down from £1.70
    • 3 organic unwaxed lemons 35p down from £1.40
    • 2 packs of curly fries for 75p down from £2.50

Aaaaaaaaaaand............When I got home I realised that the £1 multibuy saving on the curly fries (2 for £5 or 4 for £8) had come off making the fries 25p each! Woohoo!!! Oddly enough the 2 for £4 discount didn't come off on the mash though, weird, if it had, the mash would have been 12p  Oh well, win some, lose some!

I also only got the other curly fries and the chocolat pots because the man in the veg aisle was marking stuff down again, I asked him to scan the curly fries (£1.50) and he marked them down to 75p so I went back, got the other pack and the chocolat pots lol!

So all in all, quite a successful shop! Still annoyed at the continued absence of the leaf trays though and T's only FINALLY restocking my L'Oreal foundation once the 3 for 2 had ended!

Don't know if anyone can get any of these but i was in my local store tonight and where the party stuff was there was a sa taking off clear containers containing clear cutlery, i asked him what he was doing and he said he could not sell them as it was coming up item not found, it was marked on the shelf at 15p. I was at the ss till scanning my 1p clipper tea and i overheard a sa telling a customer she could not sell her the clipper tea as it was coming up on her till as item not found, they scanned ok for me so if you see any clear cutlery it may be worth seeing if you can scan the on a price checker to see if they do come up at 15p, they looked ok quality. The jewel gel air freshners are still scanning at 25p the smiths fancy cloths with red flowers on are scanning at 25p and the ben ten and third bird (something like that)facecloths are scanning at 77p and the bamboo plant in a little ceramic pot are £3.00 on shelf and scanning at £2.50 nice present.

How did I forget to mention this one:eek::eek::eek: they do scan at 15p, they're the clear plastic cutlery in the clear tubes and have 4 settings. I know because I bought loads for DS's party;)

...oh and 34p DMs are still going strong, LOOOOOOOADS left!

Not a T's thing but a S's thing, e-mailed to complain about paying full price for a 6 pack of walkers baked that were 10 days out of date, crisps cost £1.25 on multibuy, I've just been told I've been sent a £10 gift card! Woohoooooooooo!

Plus I sent it by letter in case they ignored the e-mail, wonder if I'll get two? :j:rotfl:

Just got my JTD voucher today, but noticed you need the original receipt to accompany the voucher...?
(Haven't returned the choc's yet either, is it ok to return perishable goods?)

No other way to re-generate I don't think, just use it to get cheaper shopping :j

Let me put it another way...what, at the moment, is really expensive in Ts and cheaper in Asda, in order to generate a comparable shop for a JTD voucher?
