I felt the need to invest in a few lidded plastic tubs this morning. I worked hard for my biscuit collection - can't have unexpected visitors in the garage tucking in.
Definitely a good idea as our little visitors have not had the manners to finish one apple before going on the next. Gutted as we had a great harvest this year so any tips on storing apples gratefully received. We did have them in our larder but it was not cool enough and some had started to rot so they got moved to the garage but I think we have lost more by doing that.
Minnie keep an eye on the plastic tubs for any damage too as unwanted visitors may have a nibble to try and get in.0 -

All these snow pictures are making me look forward to a cosy Sunday indoors watching some family entertainment in snuggle blankets and with the door locked n phone off the hook!
Who does everyone reckon will go tonight in x factor?
I want Mischa to go and little mix to win:Tlol...how posh!!! Before we had the kids ours was like a little granny flat..it had wardrobes, chest of drawers, sofa bed, bunkbeds, 3 TVs, 1 DVD players, various electrical bits (VCR/stereo etc), a fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer!!! Once we went out, and hubby lost out keys...so we put the tumble dryer on to stay warm and spent the night in there...was easier than getting taxi to my mums for the spare key!! Now within a 2 min walk, about 10 people have a spare set of keys to our house!!! We couldnt stay in the garage now anyway, as its full of kids toys and Ts glitches!!! :rotfl::rotfl:
Love that, staying over night in the garage. We could quite happily live in our garage, I've even got portable bbqs left over from the gardening glitch so we'd be all right for cooking:rotfl::rotfl:In fact DH fitted the end of it out with brand new kitchen units for storage and stuff before my kitchen was done. That caused the mother of all rows! But I got my own back when it came to doing the kitchen, it cost him a fortune!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:It's a woman thing guys;)Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

A voucher from their price drop booklet. Being nicknamed "flop" as quite a few of the offers in the booklet not working like BOGOFs and some people have managed to get DTD as dates are clearly stated on the front I think but other stores are saying "selected stores" have the offers. Vouchers are working fine though. HTHs0 -

Oh my word  and in first place at the minute too!! Thanks snap for the quizzes, seems I'm not as brain dead as I thought
Anyway afternoon everyone, been lurking for a while as myself and dd have been ill, and hugs to all in the same boat. Just want to thank you all for your finds, thanks to you and this site in general we have christmas more or less wrapped up for a fraction of what we normally spend. DH came home last night with 18 bottles of wine for me, went nuts at him (we were putting every extra penny away for DS for christmas. Hes study film production specialising in sound engineering and wants to buy his own recording equipment so he can freelance)......but then he explained he'd just won £300 on the Irish lottery I had to forgive him, so very happy in the p household this morning
No T's for me today though, maybe in the morning for a few more comfort before it finishes, and some real food as the fridge and freezer are decidedly empty.....the price drop leaflets didnt seem to make it this far though! So good luck in your hunts today xx
Oh and just to add, I really am sharon:rotfl: been wondering whether to change it but honestly not bothered about who knows my real name:heart2:Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.:heart2:0 -
Not had a chance to read back sorry if this has already been mentioned. In L*ckerbie this afternoon there were 4 basket bins with various bits of things reduced to silly prices. I will post barcodes when I get back, just nipping back out. There were pencil cases for 2p, sharpie highlighters 35p, pack of 10 pencils 15p, notebooks 37p, stapler and hole punch sets 10p and loads more. Looked like older stock but some things that have been posted on here too loke the hart shaped postit notes for 5p, sketching pencils 10 etc. Promise I will do a list with barcodes as soon as I can:TCouldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can

Got sort of man trouted today at T's - I bought 12 Celebrations & some comfort, bacon cheese etc as per price flops. Lovely young (male:D) sa changed over just as it was my turn (old crusty guy with a :(on his miserable face). He said (barked) that he could only take 10 vouchers. As steam was coming out of man customer waiting to be served next and slowly turning puce at being kept waiting I smiled sweetly (at both males) and said but I have purchased all the items that I have a coupon for and did not notice in the price flop mag that there was a limit on said purchases. I decided to cut my losses and beat a hasty retreat. Anyhoo, I went to CS and explained to lovely lady who prompttly took all my vouchers off me and gave me the cash back - including a few extra ones
;);) Wonder if Judith ever comes acros:D:Ds anything like this
