Hi went to Tescos this morning to try and get the christmas cake (Mrs Peeks) £2 with MOC, non to be had so got bottles of wine, a meal deal, 5 bottles of comfort with vouchers (DD2 got 5 as well) a Free range chicken for free(DTD), sacala sauce x 2 for 59p ea and two free blue dragon shots and wait for it AT LAST found the CDM @34p so grabbed 10 of those, (still half a box left Tescos Bevxxley) lots of other bits and pieces, very happy, a £124.82 shop, down to £40.94 using multibuys, discounts, and MOCs Thanks to everyone who contributes.

PS forgot to say, friend was in Mr Ts. buying wines three for £12 etc, she got about £60 quids worth and was talking to young man on checkout and was commenting on how good the 25% off the wines is and he said " Its on all the time, Tescos just dont advertise it" Well now anyone know anything about that then Hmmmmm I wonder?

Just thought I'd check you'd all seen this on the grabit board, thanks to marywooyeah:

Thorntons Moments and Praline Melts Chocolate £1.50 a box
I picked up a box of Thornton's Moment's at my local Mr T's metro - SEL marked £4 down to £3 on offer but scanned through at £1.50!!

works on Praline Melt boxes too but not the caramel ones.

I've tried the Praline ones (purely for research purposes! :rotfl:) and they are divine - similar to those Lindt balls!

stock up for christmas presents before they go back up!!

OMG our store has had a refit and I have just discovered we have a SCANNER:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

When i got the bf to ask at the pr3scot one they said they used to have one and it had been taken out the lady also went on to say that T's where fazing them out, I've been to 3 different T's so far and haven't found 1 scanner so assumed what she was saying must be true, now maybe not:o.

Also found some hacksaws T's own simple things for 9p also listed screw drivers too for 9p but none of them that i could see didn't grab any as well I've no idea what I'd do with them.

Tesco have a more or less permenant offer of 5% of when you buy 6 or more bottles which is never really advertised. Its only every now and then they have the 25% off one on. SO I think maybe this is what he ment.

Doesnt pr3scott have one in the cereal isle? They did up t about 2 weeks ago? Ive not been back since cos i had a run in with Mr Grumpy Trout the store manager.

May be store specific or now fixed as din't work for me this morning HTH

Finest chicken was lovely for dinner today - freebies always taste great. Not going to mr. T today have to sort stuff out for work.
