  • Wanted to say thank you to all OPs you have helped me so much to reduce my shopping, I have given information on reductions to lots of friends and enabled me to buy some great items so cheaply.

Just drank a free cappucinno, excellent!

Thanks so much to you all out there:j

Went to my local Extra to use some Comfort vouchers as the Tesco in my home town treat you like a criminal if you give them a voucher( I explained a few days ago). Anyway lost OH in the store somewhere and he found me and said where is the scanner so I can check a price. I showed him where it was and asked what he wanted to scan. He said a luggage strap. So he checked and it came up as 53p. He then said it was in a weird place so we went back and it was on one of the Health and Beauty aisles. There was a box with 6 in it so he took all six and then we found some Travel Cushions for 50p, some luggage tags 53p and some mini luggage padlocks at 66p. He was really pleased and has obviously been paying attention when he follows me around on my mad glitching hunts!!

Just went to my local xpress and saw SEL for Jumbo Cashews and Peanuts 275g@ £1.20. However the shelf was loaded with packs of 500g of the same. I went to SS to check and these were £5.+ xmas packs! (nice price hike).
Manager saw me checking and said they are in the wrong place but have them for 1.20.
Now had I bought them and then noticed, could I claim DTD on that one?

I personally would try if this happened, if they refuse then you can argue it's their fault for putting stock in the wrong place (as long as there's plenty left), it's not like another customer had just left them there.

If you stand your ground you could get DTD but a refund would be due anyway so you won't lose out.

Good one getting £5 of stuff for £1.20 though!

I don't know how much will be left by the morning, there were swarms of people, nothing but the heals sticking out:rotfl:

Darn, I've been looking for berol pens for my son for his school work, and note pads and pencils for my daughter as see is obsessed with learning to spell her name and must go through a book a day just spelling a curly c.

I may pop over to lockerbie anyway, just for a change of scenery.

Hi all, got myself 10 bottles of comfort for £2.50, get another 10 tomorrow and that should see me for quite a while!

No leaf trays in local store, didn't check anything else as it was just a quick trip. Got more Andrex kids wipes for £1 each (still beating the normal 2 for £2.50 deal), some half price Youngs chip shop fish (4 fillets for £1.99) and yet more half price Crunchie lollies (£1.39 for 3).

  • I love the offers on this site so much. I went to Makro and CostCo with my DH last week and found myself saying "i'm not paying that much I'll wait until theres a glitch at T". Also start looking at the prices in the other supermarkets and think there's a DTD opportunity and then realise its not Tesco. I'm hooked and a complete convert :)

    Just back from Mr T's

    got

B1g2f of the Cadburys choc sponge puddings £2

    11 for £1 Large wine gummies got 22 = £2 would of been £7.70

cadburys spooky shape mini choc biscuits reduced to 27p pack 6 bags in a pack

bought 5 x comforts they were reduced to £1 each and used the 75p coupons so 25p each

also picked up a A Dettol No-Touch Hand Wash System they are reduced in Mr T's to £4.99 used the dettol coupon to save £3 so would of been £2

anyway got home was unpacking shopping and thought to myself where's the dettol thing? looked every where couldn't find it so checked the receipt and it wasn't on it but the girl had still scanned the coupon ? so saved £3 off my shopping with a dettol coupon that I should not have? God knows what happened to it I put it on the conveyor belt so she must of just missed it

I checked the rest of the coupons on the receipt she had used 2 of the persil ones @ £1 instead of the comfort 75p so got 2 comforts for free.

She did look a bit nervous when I started to hand over the coupons

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Also scanned loads of the iloom balloons only 1 pack scanned cheaper @88p? what ones are scanning @8p do they have anything written on them?

@showmemore - is the dettol coupon still available, or has it finished.
