    Hi

first post - thanks to all for the grabbits/and the coupon thread which i check too .... i found my first glitch last night - hope it will work for you all as it was a biggy.

Surf - small & mighty 54 wash - should be £8.99 but tesco have a deal on so it should have gone thru at £4.60. Got to the till and tried to use a £1 off coupon and they said i couldnt (squared up for a fight!) .... couldnt use the £1 off because i had only spent £2.24!!!! so went back in and grabbed 10 - left 20 ish on the shelf for others - went thru the self serve till and paid £22.40. It was Tesco F***worth - the new one.

It also works with the sunshine yellow one for Surf - not sure of the exact name but doesnt work on the Surf pink one ... again not sure of the name.

    Hope it still works

    regards cathxxx

Hi all, just back from getting 3 new tyres at Kwik Fit, had a mooch around T's while waiting, no veg crisps to be found, scanner at Sw*nd0n still broken as it now has a pallet of xmas catalogues parked in front of it.

Managed to get the one packet of 1p satay nuts though, SA's eyes fell out lol!

While there I noticed a clip-strip in the shampoo aisle with some really pretty rose-shaped folding compact mirrors with one normal side and one magnified, quite a bargain at £1.84 I thought, maybe a good stocking filler?

My trolley got taken yesterday with a trolley key in it, it still hadn't turned up today (they thought maybe one of the trolley tidiers had taken it as it was empty and by the loos) so the security lady gave me a free one, nice of her but I went back and paid as it was out of the Alzheimers box and it seemed wrong to not pay!

    Hope everyone's well

I thought I was bad for keeping receipts! I've kept any important ones plus ones for posterity e.g. 4p clothes or 1p items. I think I've kept them more in case the police ever raid the house and wonder how I've afforded the stuff I have!

Got more lovely DTDs today. I decided last night that I'd share out my goodies with my elderly neighbours. One house has a lovely couple (the bloke has unfortunately had a few TIAs) so I gave them some Digestives and some Comfort. They were trying to give me money so I had to explain that they were free as they really are the type to bring round the 10p that the Comfort cost (I just let on it was free as well). They were so chuffed. Unfortunately the other neighbour I was going to surprise was taken by ambulance to hospital this morning and no-one knows why as yet. Hopefully all is well and I can take some goodies down to her as well.

Roll on next week for some new Price Flop bargains! I wouldn't mind something new to chase!

Thank you, you are definately not lightweight though, I just ahve some catching up to do as I've only been around since beginning of sept :)

The red things? they are princes chopped tomatoes, 4 pack for 92p, although I have three packs of 6 that I snaffled from the top stock, it makes them so much easier to carry. I have one pack each for me, mum and sis :)

I have also managed to pick up some more comfort, 6 bags of cornish fudge and three chickens yesterday, so :T to the ops for the chicken and fudge.
hi can you tell me about the fudge pls what deal is it must have missed that one tia

Oh and now I've finally managed to catch up, I need to apologise, as I was one of the people that sent the Comfort voucher to others :o, I didn't realise this was breaking any rules at the time

Although now I've read Artha's post about the rules, I am a little curious  It says that you can't send gifts or exchange personal details like e-mail addresses, but I now have a pdf link to the voucher which could be sent by PM, so no personal details requiredinnocent0009.gif .
Don't want to start any arguments, just wondered whether you guys think that would still be breaking the rules or whether that would be ok? I don't want to be naughty again :o

I think the problem, other than exchanging details, is that if a company pull a coupon, they expect no-one else to get it ;) It is just us savvy lot who save them as a pdf that are able to print more BUT, in their minds, pulling the coupon means that no more can be printed. Of course, we all printed ours before they pulled it cough cough

If MSE allow people to pass on this pdf, they are going against the company's plan to stop further printing, and they can't be seen to be encouraging this

    Does that make sense????????? :o
