Roving reporter FK logging in from Tesco trolley bay at secret location in central norfolk!! Todays rescue mission involved bags of fudge, copious amount of comfort, some wine with bicycle on it, other assorted wines and 4 boxes of DM...................FK signing out for now!0

Durham05 has the receipt, that is all that is needed as proof of purchase and I think it tells you to keep it as your guarantee - the muppets say he has to have the box ... Do Tesco think people have a storage facility for boxes? Most folks recylce them.
whoops! must admit though as well as receipts i do keep a lot of boxes, dependant on the item...electrical stuff i keep...and some of the kids toys (helps to sell them once they've outgrown them!)...any big boxes i keep and then at xmas I wrap them in xmas paper and fill them with presents...ie a bit like a hamper...usually only do this with my nephews and neices who end up with 'lots' of bits of presents!
my loft is half full of boxes, packed into boxes packed into boxes...the other half of the loft is full of Ts stuff brought in the crazy 90% off sale, all wrapped up for xmas presents!!hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0
