I finally managed to get some Comfort vouchers so popped in on the way up to put Mum to bed at 10.00p.m. last night. I found the correct Comfort and went to the till. The girl rang them up and when I gave her the vouchers said these are competitor coupons I cant take them. I said no they are Manufacturer coupons but she decided to save my transaction and took me to the CS desk. They were a bit shirty and umhed and aahed and the young girl in charge finally said oh take them and I will take the blame. When I said they are Manufacturer not competitor they completely ignored me. They finally gave me the discount but left me feeling upset as usual when I go to that store. It is walking distance from my house but I have had so many problems there I usually drive 5 miles to the Extra where they are lovely.
My local is full of trouts and I hope someone from there is reading this because I have given up now.
I am going to send a letter of complaint about the staff and their attitude and try not to go there again!!! Anyone would think it was their own money!

Care to name the store? I'm sure someone else might be in your area and collectively you can 'retrain' the said trouts. Don't let them beat you.

Well here goes. It is W*lls in Somerset and the Extra that is lovely is Sh*pton M**let. When DTD was at it's height I was treated like a criminal every time I went in there. Recently I was speaking to a CS man in the Extra store and he said W*lls was the worst store he had ever worked at as regards staff and customers. He told me he had his nose broken twice by customers. Apparently recently about 4 staff were sacked and 6 suspended because they bought a load of meat that was wrongly priced at 1p. I had heard it was something to do with the TCO thing but then I heard it was because of the meat thing. Also there have been about 3 of the car park lights broken for about 1 year and despite reporting it they do nothing about it. It is open until 12.00p.m. each night but if you go after 9.00p.m. all the outside lights are off. I am partially sighted and I have to be careful if I go late at night. Whereas the Extra store is lit up like a Xmas three. I am off to the Extra in a mo to see if I can get some more Comfort and look if the Meal Deal glitch is working. In my local they have pulled the deal in favour of Xmas goodies. I feel much better getting that off my chest. Happy Glitching all!!

I just had to share this, Mam asked my brother to get her a ham hock as she wanted to make soup, he was gone hours and has just came home with a reclining garden chair, he thought Mam wanted a hammock!!!!!!

Can't say for certain but when I looked online yesterday it had the yellow banner saying it is included in the meal deal (previously missing). Someone later posted that they had got the DTD so it might be possible that my store has corrected it independently. I would have a look online and see if it's included for you when you sign in

Just back from a bit of xmas shopping and everything seems so expensive in "real" shops but have managed a few bargains.
Going to collect my new duvet covers in a minute:o:o gonna have to hide them from my OH he'll go mad if I bring anymore home!
And am going to pick up a few more comforts, love the smell of the pure and it's really making a change from strawberry.
