Morning all:santa2:

Not had a chance to post since going to Mr T.

Managed to get my 5 bottles of comfort, and a few, well 20 bars of DM for the Christmas party I'm helping to arrange for the dance group my DS goes to. I have a budget of £1 per person for the gift for them, found 3 calculators @50p each bar code 2942, ben10 statioary set @22p 8529, disney parachute fairy one @50p 6782, pack of 6 disney erasers @ 20p 1371, and 2 small barbie puzzles @ 39p each 2942. Also managed 11 of the lollies, sadly no wine gummies :(

Has anyone in Surrey/Croydon managed to find the I loom balloons, I have spent hours scanning every type of packaging to no avail all come up as per SEL £3.15 or £3.50 would love to get 4 packs to split and put 1 each in their gift. Can anyone give me the barcode for them I have the 1005 but I'm sure I saw a post with different numbers. Have checked for the pencil cases, only cars 2 one in my locals all scan at correct price :(

Anyone got any suggestions what I should be looking out for ages of the kids are 5 - 12 mostly girls but 4 boys regularly attend. All ideas gratefully received :D

Have a good day all :)

Quick ? bought a bluetooth ear piece in the sale, have a receipt, its faulty not holding charge and cutting out.
asked last night bout returning it and they said need the box / barcode for refund.
where do i stand with this is it covered by the sale of goods as in not fir for purpose? any1 know a bit more for when i go down today.

I presume you mean Tesco - your receipt acts as your proof of purchase, what the product is and what you paid for it.

Does it say anywhere behind the CS desk that to return something faulty you need the box? I suspect not.

If you had just changed your mind (sale goods) too bad, but you have exactly the same statutory rights on faulty goods as if you had paid full price.

Dont take their crap, quote the sale of goods act for faulty items and ask to see their notice that things must be returned in a box ... still no joy (after CS manager then store manager, Trading Standards). Either way then an email to philip.clarke@uk.tesco.com highlighting your unfortunate two shopping trips to return said faulty item!

hello everyone! :)

just spent 3 hours catching up from when I left you yesterday evening!

friend came over last night and after 5 hours of drinking wine and chatting like mad I nearly lost my voice! It always happens to me when I meet her! It was on average twice a year because we only were meeting up at our Uni exams(and while being fine the first day, I always come to the next day exams with a voice from a horror move and looking worse for wear... :o luckily it's mostly tests so I don't need to talk...)
However now we moved she only lives 5 mins walk from us and I can see this happening more often! :o need some strepsils from mr T now...
Waiting for the bl00dy T clothing order to arrive so I'll go out to T later then planned as I really don't feel well...

Thanks for the laugh tho! Love all your drunken storys and I'm glad I'm not the only girl who drinks(or used to) to the extreme! :o
I had soo many parties I don't remember... I even once was taken to the A&E after one because there were no cabs so I fell over and my friend called an ambulance(I lived 2 mins walk from the hospital!:o) I had 3 stiches on my chin and found it fun at the hospital so changed my ming about going home and wanted to stay there... They didn't like my company though and asked me to leave! :o
And when I met bf's parents for the first time it was our friend's wedding and I only remember the first hour :o Not going into details but the next day my future in laws asked my bf to break up with me! He didn't :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Because I made it up to him after the afterparty :D (we went to a pretty public place to have some great fun iykwim :p)
The stories could go on and on...

Made the Santa video for bf yesterday and played it to him last night... He was deeply upset that I reported him as naughty to Santa! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
So I got a few extra loud farts this morning!

Wishing you all a lovely day! :A

Hi all

Not been on here since Thursday, hope I haven't missed too much :(

I would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to Beki88 :A, she will know why :T

Popped to T's last night for a few bits and found some Halloween toilet rolls on the top shelf. I took 4 packs and went to checkout. I couldn't believe my eyes when they scanned at £2.25 each  I told SA that they had been scanning at a reduced price of £1 and she said "oh they were probably on offer then"! I replied "no, it's more likely that they were reduced due to the fact that they are Halloween toilet rolls and Halloween was a month ago". A supervisor standing nearby came over and asked did I want them, I said no I'll leave them if they're £2.25 (as someone pointed out, the quality is not as good as normal andrex but the kids like them so would have had them for a pound). The supervisor said "okay, I'll put them through at £1 for you" :) Just something to be aware of if anyone spots these around still.

Just another little thing some people might want to note, the Koko chocolates scan at different prices for the different colour packaging (in my store). The pink ones are priced at £2.03 and the blue/green ones are priced at £3.00.

Apologies if either of the above points have already been mentioned but I haven't had a chance to catch up from Thursday yet (and having looked at the amount of pages since then, I may have to just start from here :o).

HTH :)

• Do any of you have any joy finding glitches in Mr T home stores? I have only been looking for a few weeks but have found nothing in the one local to me.
