The discount would only come off the £2.19...so you'd pay 9.85 or around 1.65 a bottle! hth

I've never had many JTD vouchers, but when I've used them I've never been asked for my original receipt. I posted yesterday, I think, about an SA saying, when using them and other vouchers, that as long as they scan there's no need to check them. This morning was a different story when I used another small JTD voucher. Same SA but it was scrutinised and I was asked for my receipt as it was not valid without it. They said it was because of abuse and they now have to check. They also said that he thought they were stopping it anyway! Not exactly sure what they meant by that:(

Finally got around to watching the infamous programme last night. Perhaps I'm a bit out of step with others but I didn't think it was too much different to the general philosophy on here. (No offence meant to anyone :)) Anyway for me it was a piece of stage managed tongue in cheek TV and not a serious in depth look at consumerism. It was channel 4 after all!

As for the young man who allegedly posted on here, I thought he came across as being far more articulate than whoever was pretending to be a teenager:cool:

OK zippy? That's my post for the day:)

I have always been asked for my JTD receipt so if (big if) I get one, I staple it to the coupon and they write on the receipt and cross out the date at the bottom.

Who was it that said its raining down south, where are you ???? its been brilliant sunshine since 8.30 here, and its so warm......might actually do a morning run to T to make a change!!
Usually sit on here all day, but that sun is very tempting.

  • . Also bought the meal deal with the haddock, the meal deal did not work and when I went to CS for a DTD they were not having it the SA went off to check and came back and told me that the 'chinly chips' side order were not part of the deal today, they were yeterday and might be tomorrow and HO can change them during the day but at the time I went they were not part of the deal. The Manager came and said the same. Told them I did not agree and as I picked them up from the fridge as far as I was concerened they were part of the deal. They said there were no more in the fridge and someone must have put them there. Told them I would be ringing HO tomorrow (are they open on Sat?). Anyone been told this before and are they right? Thanks

LOL Chunky Chips, think I have sampled too much of the wine :)[/QUOTE]

Hi anyone dealt with the same situation as above before and do you know if HO is open on a Saturday - thanks
If it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:
