What a load of Bo**ocks. I have been offered a £20 gift card which is ok but it doesn't cover the DTD. So I think I might email uncle phil. I am not greedy and I dont very often go for things I know I would get DTD this has really put me off shopping in Ts.

Well at least you got something!

But I agree, a lot of us are feeling aggrieved over this silly price drop leaflet/offers/selected stores/cs attitude

Couldn't agree more, why can't they just hold their hands up and say sorry we made a mistake, pull the rest of the leaflets & honour the ones people go in waving.

Thats why I hate using Tesco, without being a MSE, its never straightforward, you never know where you are with their prices even the value products flutuate from week to week

Are you sure about the foxes mine went through as £1.59 each I bought 4 packs it took £3.18 off so they owed me £3.36 & after much quibbling I got it. Been to two stores the foxes were marked the correct price in the first one as were the Heroes & Celebrations but the biscuits didn't work, oh the argument about where did I get the book, they weren't a selected store (so how come I just picked this up in here then? ) then he wanted to give me JTD but I stood my ground it has to be marked on the item or SEL I said as far as I'm concerned the booklet is as good as a SEL eventually I got DTD.

The other store said the offers had changed, so I pointed to the date on the front of the booklet !

Don't anyone be fobbed off, stand your ground :)

    receipt said 2 @ 1.59 = 3.18. -1.59 bogof. But i had bought 4 packs.
not two. This was not self scan, it was normal til. Just cos I only have one star doesn't mean I am slow or don't know what i am doing.

I just don't chat about nothing, I am too busy for that.

We are going on a luxurious break in Anglesey soon and this is our nearest one although over 10 miles away!

Reminds me of a time when we went to Anglesey many years ago on a Saturday afternoon and EVERYTHING was shut - hope you have more success than we did! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Get even ;) They know they have made a duck up, thats why duty managers were removing the price drop mags from the shop floor last night.
I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!

    Same as me I bought 4 packs charged 4x 1.59 6.36
Less 3.18 BOGOF at end of receipt
I shouls have paid 1.50 for the 4 packs
    so they owe me 1.68 difference x 2 = £3.36

I'm not sure why you mention the number of stars you have, I got most of mine on the competitions thread

  • For those that like the little bottles I can confirm I bought the following this morning:

    Jacob's Creek Shiraz Cabernet
    6 bottles @ £2.39 each = £14.34
    2 for £3 offer = -£5.34
    25% off original price = -£3.59
Total £5.41 for 6 small bottles (90p each)
If you're not scared, you're not paying attention

What a shame you are too busy to chat more - you sound delightful.
