Hi all, it's been years since I posted anywhere on this site, but I have kept on reading bits and pieces over the years.
This thread is very interesting. I pride myself on getting the most from Tesco, but I'm an online shopper. I just noticed my receipts are not set out the correct way for me to price check. Also, I see tons of these glitches everytime I do my shopping. Can anyone tell me if online shoppers can demand the same dtd etc?
I have a very long list of "issues" that have built up over the last few deliveries and I'm trying to gen up a little more before I turn on the charm and schoomze a nice voucher! (had them before!)
I can offer these comments about online shopping.
1) BOGOF's - if one of the items is broken or damaged, the delivery guy immediately enters it as damaged and it gets refunded = free 2nd item, will probably work with B1G2F.
2) 50% of the order pickers either cannot count or are distracted when picking my order. I often end up with extra packets of back bacon, steak. This also happens when buying B1G2F, and I end up with 4 items.
3) Price match - I've done really well here just because the brand I ordered wasn't available. Best yet was an order for a small bag of frozen Samosas at £2, the substituted bag that arrived was the largest available costing more than £9!
4) always write notes next to the offers you have selected. If you're ordering rump, put a note to say a substitution of sirloin, T-bone etc will be acceptable if rump N/A. This worked with lamb for me!
5) you can return items from the previous weeks shopping. The delivery drivers can be a little unsure but just say CS said that's the correct procedure. Watch for a refund email and check the amount refunded. I returned something that was on offer and when the mail refund came through it was at full price!
I usually get a freebie each week, but lately I've had very distracted pickers who forgot to remove security tags from booze so it had to go back! (yes this is one of my "issues" on the list!)
I better finish it there, but I'll be back now that I know the glitches are so important!

It is not acceptable nor legal to do so and such posts can get the site into trouble.
Thank you in advance.
What post? I haven't posted about JTD vouchers...0 -
