Good morning everyone, a T's Tuesday, hope it's a good one!

I'm not comfortable getting a JTD then returning an item, but then, others obviously are.

If I'm going for JTD, it's because at the refunded price, it's good value, or takes a shop over a minimum spend level, so that I can use that voucher.

Planning on doing that this week, with a £5 off voucher, and a few coupons and small JTD voucher.

That reminds me, must look on newspaper thread to see if today's voucher is a general £5 off spend voucher, or if it's items specific.

    Have a good day everyone

Since the mention of the £15 box of chocs and the £10 JTD voucher ... this 'new' (to me) loophole has got me thinking. Could it be this easy?:money:
    :naughty:

Yes - certainly look worth a try.

You are simply looking for the biggest price difference between T and A on non-perishable goods. They need to be non-perishable so that you can return them.

I have done the Guylian one so can confirm that T will price match it for a £10 voucher. With the ones you have listed here you will need to buy one and put it in the price check and see if they match it. As I'm sure you know, sometimes they don't match items and there is no rhyme nor reason. If it doesn't match you can just get a refund so no harm done.

Some of the tins of biscuits have been working recently but T seem to have them all on offer at the moment -worth watching though.

    :naughty:

    and thank you midwinter! :)

I do not think using JTD and returning the item is a loophole worth being explored! Without getting into right/wrong/fraud debate and/or judging anyone please at least DO NOT DISCUSS IT ON THIS THREAD and I'm only saying it because I don't want this thread to be closed as I love it so much :o It's just a matter of time before we have the forum police here saying MSE is about saving money legally etc.

    OK, rant over :p

Up early this morning waiting for someone to install a phone line for us so we can have proper broadband :o Rainy outside and I was hoping to go cycling in the afternoon(to T of course!:D) but maybe it will get nicer later... I am also hoping for some nice phone calls today :o

Have a lovely day all! :A

Hi, just thought i would also share what i found today. If you look at the new Tesco leaflet on page 18 you will find buy one get one free items.the kenco cappuccinos ,8 pack crumpets,8 pack golden syrup pancakes and the raisin and lemon pancakes are not working so i bought a couple of each and took them to cs with my leaflet to which the cs said oh no not that leaflet again so i am not the first, but with dtd i got it all for free.you must have the leaflet and make sure you only but the type that is in the picture. hth
Gosh, this is interesting... many thanks Candy

I wonder if this is the same for other items on that page?

I suppose it may not work tomorrow - could be that the b1g1f offer will kick in in the morning.

Can't resist giving it a go though - I'm tempted to buy 2 of everything on the page!

I checked the sel of all the items on page 18 this morning in store and can confirm that the b1g1f offer does not kick in on...

    Cappuccino
    Drinking Chocolate
    Golden Syrup Pancakes
    Raisin and Lemon Pancakes
    Chocolate Digestives

all the others had a b1g1f sel but I didn't scan them. I didn't check the crumpets - don't like them - but Candy has already checked they work.

Had a bit of an argument at cs as they didn't really want to honour the offer but I stood my ground and got dtd so two of each of the above for free. :j

One member of staff mumbled that the offers don't usually start until the price changes on Tuesday overnight so I think this offer will work all day today - get your coats on ladies...
