    Afternoon all!

Fudge- thank you as always for posting your pics :-)

For anyone looking for DM in B Stoke, sorry, I had the lot this morning. I promised a friend i would get her some, and i needed some more for presents. This was first thing this morning so they might have refilled by now.

Got 22 packs of wine gums for £2 :-D)) Dont like the lollies so left them there, there were tons of them there. Misery Guts is happy now cos he has sweets.

Wanted another camera case but there were no signs of any except the plain ones. Not even a SEL for either the blue or the pink, so i am wondering if the pink was going through at 20p in that store

And also, yes, i find that I am getting through the DM far too quickly!! For some reason it tastes so much nicer when its cheap, dont you think?!

I've done 20 miles before and I bet quite a few of us have;)What I try and do if I'm going that far, is incorprate it into a little trip that can "take" in a few other T's.
It's normal anyway, 20 miles is just a little jaunt:)

I have never been further than a mile

Ps, be warned. The casa Di mama pizzas are LUSH! I am gonna reply that I really enjoyed it but wouldn't pay £2.99 for it (which is true!).

It worked well for me today actually. I had news today that a friend died yesterday so I offered to prepare a meal for the family who are going around to console with them.

I has bought 2 of the Lidl weekend offers of beef this morning and the pizzas from Tesco. I have now got a spicy beef n bean casserole simmering away (I also used the last 1p adzuki bean tin and 2 of the 1p chilli passattas in there of course to make it even more MSE). As one family member is vegetarian, I am taking the other pizza over too.

It will be a meal that cannot be enjoyed though. :(

I just hope they manage to eat a bit of it :(

I would love to do a round trip popping into a few along the way. Only problem is the two children throwing a strop at the mere mention of going near one!

even showing the 6 yr old pictures of the toys we could go looking for isn't working! She now wants £8 just to pop to the local one

    a mile??? Lucky you!

There is an express 2 miles from me.

A homeplus 2 miles in the other direction

An extra 5 miles away which *could* take in the homeplus as a round trip if I could be bothered with the traffic this time of year

A normal store 3 miles from me in another direction again!

Goodness. Just read my post back and it seems really insensitive

I meant that my shopping worked out really well.

I had gone the shops before I knew I was preparing a meal if you know what I mean.

The death came as a shock to everyone :(

  • can I also ask how far people travel on average to T's? Have located another extra I have not been to but its still over 20 miles away - is that verging on obsession?!

15 miles to get to my nearest T's.:eek::eek:
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.
