Well done Nikki can't believe it is actually 3 whole weeks since you stopped smoking they seem to have flown by. :j:j:j
  • A bit ot but to add my two pennyworth to the no smoking posts - Nikkilala has given some really good reasons for giving up the fags all of which I shared but what finally convinced me to give up was losing a very good friend to the big c - she was only 32 and left 2 small children, one of which she was pregnant with whilst being treated. She lived long enough to spend a few weeks getting to know him before she passed. If that ain't a good enough reason I don't know what is - it certainly made me do it.

Sorry - I am not preaching to anyone and we all have the right to do what we think is best for ourselves but if it helps just one person, then it has been worth doing.

Nikkilala - keep it up girl. You will continue to feel better and fitter with each day that goes by - remember to get yourself a treat that you wouldn't normally do. And not just the wine gums:T:T:T

I hope no one minds me adding my pennyworth too. I lost a very dear friend who was only 28 from the same and she had never smoked but as she spent quite a lot of time at places where people did, the only reason doctors could find was passive smoking as she had been very fit and healthy (played netball and badmington until fell ill). We were all very shocked and it certainly made lots of our smoking friends think hard about their habit.
  • Morning everyone. Any chance someone can make me a coffee?

What a shocker that was. Watched him on Football Focus just yesterday. Very sad news. RIP.
