It worked well for me today actually. I had news today that a friend died yesterday so I offered to prepare a meal for the family who are going around to console with them.

I has bought 2 of the Lidl weekend offers of beef this morning and the pizzas from Tesco. I have now got a spicy beef n bean casserole simmering away (I also used the last 1p adzuki bean tin and 2 of the 1p chilli passattas in there of course to make it even more MSE). As one family member is vegetarian, I am taking the other pizza over too.

It will be a meal that cannot be enjoyed though.

I just hope they manage to eat a bit of it

Hope the meal goes ok JJ, I have a really good friend who sounds just like you;) The minute we have a trauma she arrives with meals and I knew what a really good friend she was the day I came out of hospital and the dinner she brought round included sausages as she knows my DH loves them(She is a staunch veggie and has never bought meat in her life;))

There are plenty of the coloured varieties (black, red, purple) with 3for2 offer SEL 3.50-4.00 but the clear ones are harder to find.

I had to search behind the coloured ones to get them!

These wine glasses are fab, I got loads of them on DTD when they were 3 for 2 as the discount didnt kick in:T:T

I have loads of T's near me I admit, and I can do 4 expresses in about 20minutes door to door in the car.
In fact as I have confirmed in the past, I can verify an express glitch from lappie, car,express and home in 9 minutes;););)parking on a yellow line though as I've admitted before, but let's not discuss that:)

Leenie just do what I did, I told them I had a lot today and got them to scan the first one on s/s then do the multiple button, mine was 44 packets:oon the first run:eek:

Your cyber son got them too I think;)
I am now going to admit to getting well over 100 packets of these:o my DH loves them and I do normally buy him wine gums but these will save a fortune and keep him going for ages;) They just keep filling them up in my T's and when I walk past they say "Nikkilala take me home":rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:But I've been so good and have'nt bought a single DM... YET;)

I scanned 44 too my DS (you cyber brother :rotfl:)came with me to distract the staff just incase :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Various kids have got one wrapped up

I have had one packet and i dont think that much of them. I wont be eating any more!


With the DM- i have bought 28 packs. A friend had 10, i've eaten 1, misery guts has had one, and we shared one today.

5 have been wrapped for presents

Thank you sooo much for the pictures of the DM i found it.

In Rea**ng Napier rd today they had a whole aisle of reductions. All the shampoos and conditioners that were going through cheaper a few weeks ago and i couldnt find were all in green baskets with yellow labels on now more expensive. Holts de icer found 4, 1 with a yellow label saying £1.50:eek:took the 3 with illegible labels and sa manually entered them and they came up at 31(32 p i cant remember)
the 1p trays are back and got loads of wine gums.Modern milk and to top off a wonderful shop stopped at a BP garage and picked up 10 bottles of water well 13 he said you have a few more vouchers why dont you pick some more up :D:D:D:D

Just back from the local Extra, another couple of Zhu Zhu pets large playsets going through at 1.50/2.00. I got the Bark de Triomphe, Ice Cream Parlour and the Post Puppy Playhouse

These were just with the normal toy sale toys, havent seen them there before
