I am not condoning illegal activities ...
I had DTD twice on a product then a refund!
It was a stickered half price and I was charged the full amount. CS gave me DTD but did not mark receipt. Went back in a few days later and tried it again. Went through fine but receipt marked this time. A few days later still got a refund.
BTW I have no morals, they were surgically removed by Mr T at induction!
love it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
coming from a background in training would love to sit in on an induction for mr T0 -
Flora cuisine has a try me free collar on too. You have to roast potatoes in it and send your receipt if you don't like it. As I only roast mine in dripping (saved from roasting joints of meat of course!), I know I will find it inferior so can say so honestly and get my money refunded!
They are £1.98 in Asda but £1.32 in Tesco. Either way you will get your money back (if you don't like your spuds roasted in the stuff) but Asda will give you an extra 10% on the price difference with the APG.
Enjoy!:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

did the BOGOF kick in or was there no BOGOF sign?0 -
Hooray! I spotted the turkey in my local Extra today. Stickered at £7.50, checked the price and they scanned at £15.
I bought 3. Rushed through a manned till. Chose a cashier who looked suitably disinterested and scanned them without paying attention. (The fact that I was chatting to her to distract her was beside the point...).
Went to the CS desk and got my £45 refund! Assistant was actually quite nice about it and said for me to have a lovely Christmas - admittedly she did have a small wry smile and quickly got on the phone to the relevant department to remove the stickered items from the shelf.
Have one in the fridge to 'try out', and have given my mum the other two as we're going to hers for Christmas this year. Feels great to be able to supply the turkey - especially as I'm really short of money right now through no fault of my own*
* Soon to be ex is a *@*@!
Thank you soooo much to the OP. I have looked back to try to find who posted the glitch, but I can't find you. Please can anyone let me know who it is so that I can send a virtual, and very grateful, hug! xx0 -
Hi, end of a hectic work week for me and an even crazier one looming next week.
Got 2 boxes of Tesco Collection chocs SEL £3 charged £6, had to ask for dtd again - feel an email coming on to suggest retraining staff.
Didn't find any turkey but not sure I am looking in the right place.0 -
Would ask him for you but just dropped him off at the station, he's gone to his monthly lecture at the Royal Institute of Mathematicians in London, it's really posh, near The Ritz or The Savoy, he told me the other day they all had to stand as Prince Michael was attending the lecture :eek: Gawd knows how I got a son like him;);) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I'm sure he does actually take after you as you need a maths degree sometimes to work out all the glitches.
You must be so proud, does he get to stay over for Cambridge interview like they do at Oxford. Not that DD2 applied there in the end, she is very happy with her decision and actually said the other day she is so glad she picked a university with problem based learning approach too as she has fallen asleep in couple of lectures  and thinks she would be finding it a lot harder than it already is.
But good news as they got results from a test yesterday and she came in lets say Top 5 of her year, don't want to say exactly as might give too much away. Very proud of her, she is finding it hard but seems to be coping except first visit to theatre was a little unsettling. I think I might have to get Karlie to give her some tips on that one.
Hoping things will be bit easier at home after the weekend as DH has been busy with finishing work for a diploma. He has gone away for the weekend to present his work so hopefully he will have passed and he will be able to do a few more "normal" things at home. Though a trip to Mr Ts would never be on his list.0 -
I notice on the mega reductions thread that some of the Dormens nuts have been reduced even futher!!! After I hunted loads down other day they have halved the price yet again. Don't think anyone posted it here yet and I am hopeless have not learnt how to do links yet. Think I read spicy peanuts 12p and pistachios 19p. And I know where there are some too.
Need to work out the maths as to whether the cost of my petrol is worth the trip.
Ps perhaps your DS could give me a hand Nikki!
had lots in clay x (nuts) 40pish
just been to ponte as up in yroks got white board pens and harndwriting pens ffor only 33p i paid £2ish other day in clay x for big box as couldn';t find a smaller one. might take back when back home.

2nd time to quote this post. thank you thank you.
i got my meat balls today, sel at £1,50 pack marked £3. also a jar of curry paste. well i was charged £3 each for 4 packs. went back to cs for refund and they said thats £14 we got to give you. trying to look puzzled i said thats good why so much. cs said we got to give you double the overcharge. dont think they have done this very often as they also doubled the curry paste which was correct. the one that seen to me also had not seen a jtd voucher before. so outcome paid £13 took off £1.50 jtc voucher from wombled reciept. got £14 refund so got paid £2.50 to take away 4 packs of meatballs and a curry paste.
i would never of gone out had you not said about a meatball curry.
got the meatballs in clay x yesterday at end of aisle where meat is.0 -
Hi all, been away for a while, lost a close family member
:(:(, so today is first day I've had enough time to catch up properly.
I thought I'd post an offer I received by email today. It's not T's but is a really good offer, and I thought I would put it here for all you luvverly peeps to get first dibs at it if you are interested. (The offer was on last year, and they went like hot cakes).
If you go to this site www.vaxsale.co.uk there are lots of Vax vacuums, handhelds & uprights, as well as carpet washers at silly prices.
There is a code to enter the site, and if anyone is interested, they can pm me for the code.
Hopefully some of you can get a good deal before I put it on the main grabbit board with the code. I haven't seen this anywhere else yet, and I only got the email an hour ago.
I rarely find offer glitches before anyone else:o, but hopefully this will help someone who needs a new Vax at a great price.
EDIT I'll put it on the main grabbit board in an hour
2ND EDIT Now on a new thread on the Grabbit board. CODE IS VAXBLACK1 to save anyone hunting for it.
Quick bump for this as the pages are filling up. I would love to know if anyone gets a bargain.
Off to T's in a while. Lists (lots of them) done, coupons sorted, reading glasses in bag (why do they print the sels sooo small? lol). If I find anything good I'll report back. Gonna be looking for whoopsies as well. See you all later. xSealed Pot Challenge No 9 516 target £250
