I notice on the mega reductions thread that some of the Dormens nuts have been reduced even futher!!! :mad: After I hunted loads down other day they have halved the price yet again. Don't think anyone posted it here yet and I am hopeless have not learnt how to do links yet. Think I read spicy peanuts 12p and pistachios 19p. And I know where there are some too. Need to work out the maths as to whether the cost of my petrol is worth the trip.

Ps perhaps your DS could give me a hand Nikki!

Found the Bernard Matures turkey in an Extra store today, went to checkouts with 2, went through at 7.50, arrrgh! Sorry forgot wallet excuse came out.

Just a small one. Big sign on end of aisle display - 3 for 2 Ken Hom OR Indian meals, cheapest one free, infront of half fridgeful of Chicken Tikka and Jalfrezi with rice both @ £3.20. In main chiller on sel's 2 for £5.00! Got three and went thro' as 2 for £5.00. At CS, she got a bit confused and phoned the dept. manager, who also got confused! Ended up she asked me to go and explain it to the dept. manager! Met him by the display and he'd already taken the big sign down. I explained and he explained tgat it didn't mean what it said and slowly read it out as above but missed out the OR! He got another sa to readit, he missed out the OR as well! It was getting funny. Then the sa said but Ken Hom doesn't cook Indian food. We all read it out. Ken (x3), Hom(x3) OR (x3) Ahh they said, you're right! I asked him to come to CS with me but he said no worries, I'll phone them to honour it.

So 2 x 3.20 = 6.40, 1.40 discount applied on shop plus 3.20 = 8.20, but 3 4 2 = 6.40, overcharge of 1.80. DTD of 3.60 refunded, so 3 meals for 4.60! Hope that makes sense. :T:T:T

Would ask him for you but just dropped him off at the station, he's gone to his monthly lecture at the Royal Institute of Mathematicians in London, it's really posh, near The Ritz or The Savoy, he told me the other day they all had to stand as Prince Michael was attending the lecture :eek::eek: Gawd knows how I got a son like him;);) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
