has anybody been to gr**sby or cl**th**pes today just debating wether it is worth going out in cold or not.
tia
I just got back from gr**sby. Tried ordering sleeping bags online this afternoon but the mummy one disappeared out of my basket just as I was in the middle of paying for my order. So I went to see if there were any in store. There werent, but while I was there I scanned all the sleeping bags on the shelf, they were all as SEL. LOoked for lumi balloons all scanned at £3.15. There was an empty space where the dairy milk should have been, but when i went to get some arrowroot biscuits someone had hidden 4 bars behind them. The only other thing I found was the halloween loo roll. I got some with ghosts on this time.Wrap up warm if you go as the wind off the dock is biting.0 -
Just wanted to update all on the Balloons situation. I got some on Tuesday and inflated a couple just to see what they are like. They are supposed to last about 15 hours but mine are still glowing after 3 days!
Would you like me to do a daily diary so you can all share the progress of the balloons with me?:DCouldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can

Hi Debs
Turkey was at TP this morning shelf was full of stickered ones, not on end of aisle but with all the other poultry. Couple had stickers taken off but majority had them. You should have visited the stores the other way around as TP does really good whoopsies at 7ish now meat, and cold stuff all 90% off.
Glad you checked the wine I forgot about that one and that you finally have some DM.
I thought 50% off meat was good!
Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well, and you've got to go out. That's really not good. Hope you get back in soon, so you can relax a bit.0 -

Oooh thanks for letting us know. I've bought some but then read a review where someone said it had exploded and it was quite a bad experience, its put me off a little because I want them for my GS and he's only three.
I feel better now reading your comments!:T0 -
Thank you, looks lovely, def didn't see those in the store I went to tonight, will try elsewhere tomorrow.
Can't comment on the taste as they are in the freezer, one for Xmas day (theres only 2 of us and I'm not a big meat eater) May do one next week, but for free I'm sure I will manage to force it down :j0 -
I want some of what you have JJ, I feel absolute **** at the moment. Have a really bad stomach ache have taken pain killers which have not kicked in and I want to just curl up on sofa. Tea not cooked for DD3, just picked her up from the gym. Have not fed and sorted my mum for the evening either so I will have to go back out in the cold again in a moment. A mountain of washing up to do and don't know where that has appeared from as DH washed up before he went lunchtime and I had lunch with mum. No one else to ask to take a turn with mum as I have no siblings and my other DDs are both away at uni.
Aww
Why not just grab a bag of chips with curry sauce n rounds of buttered bread to slap em on with a big mug of tea. Cheap as chips comfort food
We had this last week as no time for tea and it was sheer heaven. Like going back to my childhood.
It's hot, cheap, instant and no washing up.
No one would mind you cheating as a one off!
Hope you have a nice evening when you get back in. Get your pjs on, lock the door and get your feet up girl!:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

I was rather disappointed with the balloons. Yes there is a small light inside them but if you use them during the day or inside with lights on, you wouldn't notice the light. It has to be dark to see them. How many parties are in the dark?
So unless mine are faulty and they should be brighter, they are not worth the bother and certainly not worth more than £3 for 5! Even at 8p I won't be going back for more.0
