    me;)

How many of you recognise the dish the sausage rolls are in, the sausage rolls being made from glitched jusroll pastry and whoopsied sausages:T

And some leftover smarties on top of cakes

The maths cake, my DS actually commented half way through the evening that one of the sums was wrong:mad:

Not to cause a bun fight but I totally disagree. I myself have been on 3 postings to Afghan, not on one have I being able to have a "can" every 14 days. Not only is it massively disrespectful, sending alcohol to a Muslim country, but also it is in EVERY briefing, what to send/what not to send posting on the Internet, and yes it should of been removed when scanned at BFPO. However I'm sure you appreciate some parcels do get through the system, just like the soldiers who have received hate mail etc from "well wishes". My post was hardly a lecture, it was stating that I simply do not agree with you or anybody else sending alcohol to blokes on tour.
who is monitoring the alcohol intake whilst over there, every 14 days? Whose to say someone about to go out on combat, doesnt sneakily have a quick slurp before hsnd to calm "nerves"? You see my point? When you send its not under lock and key so can be accessed at all times by anybody. And why cant it be sent over officially if its all hunky dory and allowed when not on duty? As a fairly high ranker when I was signed up, I have never even heard of this "agreement", however if you can find me a link to the written rule then I will admit defeat :)

ok....firstly I am going back 6 years and more...maybe things were different then. Secondly, I dont have a link to the briefings that HMS give out....my hubby retired after 23 years so wouldnt have access to that info anymore.

Clearly my post has offended you - that wasnt my intention. All I can say is that most certainly back then, crew were allowed a 1 can rule, and it was monitored by the person in charge of each squadron out there. This obviously isnt the case anymore.
I'm not here to argue,so in light of that, I shall remove that part of my original post, and the subsequent posts regarding it. I would request that you remove them from your quotes, or remove the posts, then we can have our happy thread back :)
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!
  • I dont use a smartphone (or anyother if I can avoid it-I'm phonephobic) but I imagine that to be a bit of a pain especially when people quote the postings with photos on, so you get them several times over.

I used to be phone phobic, but had to face my fear, still not comfortable with it and only use it as a last resort.
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

Bet you had a sore head yesterday though haha.

Well this emotional issue I seem to be having since the accident is really starting to bug me, I've done nothing but cry all day, well past few days to be honest. We had to renew our insurance as well which didn't help...255 smackers....a month  No way can we afford it :( But we really can't do without a car so I have no idea what we are going to do :(

Hey, hope youare ok, you really should go and see a doc. When i had a no fault accident, my middle son started weeing the bed at night. Doc said it was physchological. Anyway awarded over 1 k whjch is in a trust fund.

Cant remember if it was your fault, but either way, go to docs. X
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.

I know you weren't planning on offending me, and I don't want you to feel that I'm spanking you for doing it. It just really rattles me when wives do send it out there knowing that's it's contraband. Not just on about you here, but also wives from our own camp. Well done to hubby for completing his 23, I do admire him and also every other signed personnel and that's why I want to do everything in my power to keep them safe. Sorry for rambling :)
