Given that the situation is a bunch of ladies of a certain age out walking in the countryside, sounds like the SheWee is what we need, rather than the TravelJohn. One of them was describing how she'd been out with her DH and her brother, sent them on ahead for some privacy, squatted down to do her business, and found herself unable to get up again ...

Just an update, my SheWee arrived safely, very pleased with its colour, and even more pleased to discover that one of my fellow walkers is already an experienced user. Together we are writing an article for our group's next newsletter. Fully intend to try it outdoors soon, but a bit nippy atm. :rotfl:

Thanks for the laughs girls . May get one for next spring when we hope to go on a few walks . It'd be good not to have to worry about nearest loos . Never heard of a traveljohn before tonight . We'd been out to eat one time and I realised I needed to go quite urgently and not just a wee . Luckily a garage loo was within reach and I made it just in time . I was eyeing up the plastic carrier bag in the back seat . Thank goodness I didn't have to use it , I'd have been mortified and my poor DH who was driving was saved from the horror of that ! Off to look up traveljohns now .

Shewee is the best product to keep in the car if you get caught short - believe me it's happened lots of times to me whilst stuck in traffic jams. When I went to Chris Evans 'carfest' festival in the summer there was a Shewee-inal - a ladies loos for girls who had Shewees! and i'd never seen them before and they were selling portable loos called 'Ploos'! they sell them on the shewee.com website
