Oh blimey that's a bit worrying, I hadn't even thought of that! When the engineer asked if he could i did ask if it would cause me any problems and they said absolutely not, not sure what to do now, don't really want to upset the neighbours but don't want it to be dangerous either!

That can't have been done by a trained Sky installer, must be just a cowboy sub-contractor surely?

Really sorry if this is a stupid question so apologies in advance but i can't seem to find the answer online anywhere!!

I've just taken up the Sky HD upgrade offer and have an engineer coming next week to replace my old white Sky + box in the lounge with a new HD one and to change my old standard Sky box in the bedroom to a new Sky + box.
Is there anyway I can now use any of the boxes I will then have spare to get a TV signal in my daughters bedroom? She has a TV with built in Freeview but despite buying just about every set top aerial out there I can't get a signal and I don't have an outdoor aerial. I know its a long shot but i was just wondering as the Sky engineer is going to have to install the Sky + in the main bedroom upstairs as it currently only has the single feed for a standard box is there anyway (if i asked him nicely!!!) anything can be run in to get a tv signal in the other bedroom. I know i can get another multiroom subscription but don't really want to pay the extra a month and my daughter doesn't really need all the paid for sky channels, freeview channels would be plenty. I have also seen Sky Freesat cards can be bought for £25 so not sure if this might help?

Thanks for reading and again sorry if its a really stupid question!!
hi we have one dish with a four plug thing on it which goes to every room in the house with a sky box in every room which we have freeview through it

No, you don't have Freeview. You have the Sky FTA channels.
Freeview is a terrestrial service via an aerial.
