  • I'm spending some time on my index, which involves scanning back through old threads. Thought you might be interested in this on, courtesy of Snowy Owl.

100 uses of soda crystals. There's a website and you can e-mail for their leaflet. I can only think of a couple of uses, so have sent for mine to get the other 98 :j

    WM x2 one done

Put washing on airer or in TD one done
Cloakroom cleaned nearly done, well I've cleaned the loo
Dinner just waiting for Tescos to deliver

    Moggins list:
Childrens rooms/Spare room - Tidy, dust and hoover, clean skirting boards and windowsills. Change bedding.
Quick hoover round downstairs and tidy ready for the weekend
Do meal plans done and sort out paperwork/anything that needs to be dealt with ready for Monday

It's not looking very productive so far but ds (2yrs) and I have been painting pictures - sink isn't looking very shiny atm as lots of saucers, paintbrushes and sponges covered in paint to wash up! :D Check out page 7 #121 for the instructions I'm following today!;)

  • morning.

I've managed to take baby to clinic and get him weighed, and then cam home and hoovered all of downstairs again. Kitchen is looking tidy. I have one small hot spot appearing on the coffee table again, so i need to sort that today.

I also remembered to get something out of the freezer for tea.

i'll be going to a baby group this afternoon, so will post some letters while i'm out, and then try to have a bit of a sort out upstairs over the weekend.

Moggins - sorry to hear about your DD. Take it easy over the weekend so you can all recuperate.

Moggins - hope your DD is feeling much better now and that you're ok too, it's horrid when there's anything wrong with them.

Pigpen - hope you're feeling better soon, nearly 12 hours sleep - you must have needed it.

Little to report here. Tidying as and when I can as I have DS off sick again and my mum is coming in and out so I can still do a bit of work (work from home so not too bad). Puddycat is ok ish so he's staying with us for the weekend where he'll be his little demanding self.

I'm not doing the children's rooms today, i've told them that anything that's untidy on Sunday night will go in the charity bag....usually works!

Right back to work. Speak soon xx

Need to keep on top of things at home esp when I eventually return to work. This seems like a good idea...can some one tell me how it works.....thanks

Hi, Viv! Just catching up on the threads, and it appears that no-one's replied to you.

This thread is intended for people who don't want all the e-mails or Americanisms that come with subscribing to Flylady.

Just jump in, take a look at the lists that moggins suggests (post 1, updated daily). No need to follow that, if it's not for you. Just post what you've done.

Edit, you seem to be doing OK without an answer! Welcome, and best of luck!

    Afternoon all :D

How are we all getting on? I don't know who has kicked me today, but I've not stopped since I was last on here :D

    • Masterbed curtains currently in WM and will go back up when finished (also my cue to end my lunch break ;) )
    • Wash load of lights out on the line blowing
    • Kitchen
      • Dishes x 2 done, 1 lot put away another draining
      • Worktops wiped down
      • Bin emptied
    • Stairs (now including Hall / Landing as they're so small :rotfl: )
      • Dusted
      • Hoovered halfway, will do the bottom half when I hoover the livingroom
    • Hot spot of desk now CLEARED! :D
I've just had a nose in the fridge and found some leftovers which need to be frozen or used and that it could really do with a good wipe out but it's fit to bursting still with stuff so that will have to wait  Mondays are usually a good day for this as the human garbage disposals (aka OH & DD) have been home for 2 days :p

    Still to do
    • Hang Masterbed curtains (a real challenge as they are 90/70 and lined so HEAVY when damp  )
    • Livingroom
      • Hoover (incl. Stairs)

      • Oven - wipe out
      • Hoover
      • Mop
    • FOH (aka Front of house)
      • Sweep? Just wondering whether it is worth doing it twice in 1 week as it's more or less a main road and constantly full of litter and will have rubbish again within the hour
      • Clean Brass
      • Write number on lid of bin again
Okay... machine has finished but I haven't finished my coffee...so I'll do that first ;)

Keep it up all... it gets sooooo much easier :D Infact I'm planning on treating myself to a cuppa round at a friends house one morning next week after we've dropped the kids off at school (she's invited me) but ONLY if I can keep ontop of the dailies this weekend ;) This is the first time this has happened to me :o I'm not exactly a social person, I'm more of a "lone wolf" IRL :o Must check hotmail account

    hello all,

moggins - take care, and don't let this be an extra burden. hope we can help support you :)

OH coming down early today (will be here by 4pm :D), not hvaing a very productive work day but reckon as i've just about done my hours this week and still got about 4 to work on sunday i can not worry too much (oh the joys of a flexible job!)

man (strangely called 'Boo') came first thing to have a look at measurements for my new door - can't wait as it wil be UPVC and shoud stop the awful draughts. just hope landlord pulls his finger out!

otherwise, did an assembly which was fun and they loved, and here's my list, should be achieveable if i don't sit in front of the TV!

    moggins list:
no spare room as such so will do study - tidy, dust, hoover, skirting boards, window sills

    my list:
prep & cook the 2 bags of apples (£1!) bought on market
    spin & hang up washing
    put yesterday's dry bedding away
price monthly shopping master list online (made one from meal plan last night)
    do physio exercises
    hoover through
    hoover stairs
walk to oxfam & deliver stuff
Post office, cheque in, cash out
    recycling out

but first my tummy has done a big rumble so off for some lunch (porridge i didn't have for breakfast!)

happy friday one and all :D

That would probably have been me... I'm quite good at kicking others.. it is kicking myself I struggle with!

I hope you keep on top of the dailies so you are 'allowed' to go for that coffee next week!! I am really jealous.. noone talks to me at school because I am a freak!
