Goog morning all,
After eleven hours sleep I feel human again, no idea where I caught the stomach bug from - the kids & OH have all been fine. Pigpen glad to hear that you also have had a good sleep it's amazing the difference it makes.
Ready to try to catch up on the last few days tasks, so list for today looks like -
Dining Room - hoover & dust - done
Computer Desk - I did manage one 27 fling boogie here but looking around me i will manage another. done
Master Bedroom - still looking okay from good clean two weeks ago, but I do have a pile of books that are needing sorted so will tackle this before a quick dust & hoover. Bed allready stripped and in WM as I type. done bed remade
Childrens Rooms - DD1 has kept her room spotless for a week:j so I am aiming to tackle DD2 today and over the weekend, their beds have been stripped and are the next load to go in. beds sorted will tidy dd2 room over weekend
Will have a quick hoover round later.
Ironing still needs doing but I have taped three programmes from the last few days and OH is away to the rugby tomorrow so will get that cleared then.
Anyway better start tackling some of this I have not looked back at the photos yet, but will do that in my well deserved coffee break this morning.

Hi guys
I got some starclen last night AND a microfibre cloth! Had the stardrops already, so I need to know how long to leave the oven coated in the stuff cause there is some very baked on c**p on the bottom of the oven and also on one of the grill pans.
I now use teflon non stick mats all the time when cooking. They are great as they are cool to the touch straight out of the oven and literally you just have to rinse them and they are ready to go again
Also trying to unearth the bed in this room so our guest can sleep there tonight! Could be a mammouth task so I think the approach today has to be more a change is as good as a rest!
Ah well, feels like I am getting to base camp on Mount Everest..... still a long long way to go.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
I did the other bedrooms yesterday when I did mine so that's OK.
Three loads of washing on the line (you'd never know I do it every day).
Dusted and vacuumed right through downstairs and all tops wiped down in the kitchen.
And I've watched Waterloo Road.
But I still feel miserable and grumpy. It's a lovely day out there, I should feel bright.0 -
I'm not supposed to be here, should be gardening for someone, but have taken the day off. I'm really tired today.
Anyway, will try to keep up with the list!
I checked the understairs cupboard, and it's just where I left it>:D We weren't supposed to do any more than check it, were we??;)
The throws from the sittingroom were in the wash first thing, and now drying. The main bedroom bedlinen is washing now. I'll probably leave the children's bedlinen until tomorrow, but I have already tidied their rooms this morning and hoovered on Monday, but will probably run the hoover around again quickly today.
I think I shall have another coffee, and then do a quick blitz on the main bedroom. Definite improvement in there, but a long way to go. I only have a floordrobe, so I can't tidy that yet!
moggins I do hope that DD is improving today. Best wishes to you all.
pigpen lovely photos! Glad you slept well, and hope you're feeling better today. Eat regularly! You should never be so busy you don't take proper care of yourself! (Says me...)It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
hello everyone :hello:
:coffee:break for everyone
woke again (!) at 5am for no (obvious) reason- kids didn't get till 6am which is a huge progress :T
we are all washed and dressed, kitchen is clean, d/w un-reloaded, t/d on, w/m on, lunch is cooking away,
and then i had the urge () to do lots of odd things
rearrange my filing system (not completly finished yet), get all the batteries out to check which are ok and which to bin, had a good talk with OH that februar is the month to sort through all our suppliers and check if they are the best deal for us (!) [any idea how to start this?!?! i had a read earlier and it looks very daunting _pale_]
oh well, lunch is readyI have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work0
