istalling bluetooth on laptop help.

    You should install them by right clicking on the setup file and choosing 'Run as Administrator'.

    ok thanks, i have e-mailed belkin again and asked if the bluetooth is compatable with 64 bit.
    so do you suggest i uninstall and try again.

    takethis, thanks very much, i have right clicked on bluetooth file transfer and ran as administrator, it allows me to send a file, i have to keep going back to click on file transfer each time to send an other, but at least it can be done.
    phew.... i was losing the will to live lol.

    What about the Driver? Did it install?

    cant work out how to run it as administrator,i saved download to desktop but when i open the folder it doesnt let me start the install process . do i need to uninstall existing drivers first? i am just relieved for now, i have been able to send photos to laptop. thanks

    Post the link, I'll take a look at the installer.

    i can find the same page to the first link by going on the belkin support page and typing bluetooth f8t017ng driver and software download in their search box
