i am having problems getting a belkin bluetooth (F8T017ng) to work correctly on my laptop windows 7.
after a few e mails from belkin offering advice i still cannot get it to work correctly.
i am trying to send photos from a nokia 6700 to laptop, phone says unable to connect. it is paired with laptop.
i can send photos from laptop to phone though.
i have tried running through control panel, programme&features, run programme for previous version of windows( i chose vista) i can manage to send 1 photo from phone to laptop.
when i try to save settings it says incompatible device.
there isnt a driver for bluetooth peripheral device installed, laptop not installing.any help advice please

Have you been to PC World?Dixons/Currys without our permission?

This is what happens when you do.

Are there no Drivers on the CD ROM?

    Thought eh?

Did you install the Driver via 'Run as Administrator'? Did Belkin suggest that the Drivers would work for Windows 7 64 bit? Is your OS 64 bit or 32 bit?

Uninstall the Belkin Drivers. I let windows 7 install the necessary drivers, and my bluetooth stick works fine.

Thats strange, I only had problems with vista. Is your OS up to date?

I'm using 64 bit. Not sure if that makes a difference or not in this case.

it installed without asking for administrator permission. the drivers for the bluetooth are installed but no drivers for perephel device.

But 64bit? You need to ask that that specifically.

You wrote that the sent you the Drivers via email. So they cannot install automatically.
