Three years ago I was driving a 50mpg diesel... and running it on veggie oil at 56p a litre. Plus clubcard points

Things were good then.

Now I've got a Clio 172 I get 35mpg or so. And petrol's a fortune. At least when I can afford to drive it, I have a good time though.

By putting £10 in the govt of the day is only getting about £6 to waste...accurate figure would be welcome please.

How can we possibly get out of this economic mess unless we throw more money at our brilliant politicians.
