Well done on the toy story dvds hun. Can't beat the kids films (I'm 29 and still love them all) and glad you have finally got hot water and heating back.

Sheils well done on the flowers. I have emailed them to ask where my wins from 4th and 11th are (I know not really long enough for 11th) but my mum is a bit fed up and so i really want hers to arrive soon.

So glad your boiler is fixed Wingo! Love the Toy Story Films too.

Really excited about the flowers! I entered every time I had a suitable pic so it has taken a while. Couldn't believe it when DH got a WEM too as well as his Amazon wins. I won a Collection2000 prize today too so its been a lucky day for us.

Sooooo tired. I am up and it is still dark. What's that all about then?! sad thing is though that today is one of the rare days i leave in the dark and come home in the dark. Was used to it before I changed jobs but have got used to my silly part time hours the last 6 months so its a bit of a culture shock again

Plus doesnt help as bedroom is nice and warm and makes me want to stay in bed.

Hope everyone has a good day. Can't believe its christmas in 5 days!! Doesn't feel right somehow. It has come around so fast.

Morning everyone

I know what you mean Becks, it just doesnt seem like Xmas. Was hoping for snow on Xmas day but looks like its gonna be warm!

I'm feeling a little annoyed at the minute. My last job in the school as a teaching assistant was on a yr contract and I was assured I would be kept on by prev head teacher. Due to govt cut backs I was told by new head T that jobs were unavailable, there was one job going but someone else got it as the person was already looking after and mentoring the special needs child which the job was for. I finished in July with the words...."if anything else comes up, we'll let you know...." but last week I found through local job centre the same job I was doing but a few longer hours was advertised. I applied for it but didn't even get an interview (which was yesterday!) I don't know if to contact school and ask why I wasnt even considered for interview or to just forget it. someone told me to see a tribunal but I don't think I would stand a chance because it was a yrs contract to start with. I know some of the school staff might read this but I want them to know how annoyed I am and I feel like they have taken me for granted seeing as I was doing a lot more than in my job spec because a staff member was off sick.
Sorry for the long rant......I just feel so let down
