That's really awful for you, if they didn't want you for the job, you would think out of common courtesy they would at least give you an interview. You could have then asked for feedback about why you didn't get it. Hope something turns up for you.

I'm on tenterhooks today, OH is between night shifts and I keep hearing car doors going outside. I'm waiting for a couple of purchases so I'm up and down to the window hoping to catch them before they ring the bell. Mind you the bell's only 'dinging' at the moment, no idea where the 'dong' has gone

Bought the turkey this morning so it has time to defrost before the weekend, hope it doesn't warm up too much outside, I tend to use my conservatory as a cold storage area and it's South facing so gets warm when the sun comes out.

That's what's annoyed me about the job , they didn't even tell me about it first had to find out myself. Oh well....their loss I guess!

Afternoon everyone,

Been out for a walk this morning as we have hardly been out the last few days! Also been trying to clear the back bedroom for DS1 (apart from all his stuff which is stored here for when he returns to UK to live!) DS2 will need to share with DS3 as the small upstairs room is full of stuff. DD quite chuffed she is the only girl and doesn't have any upheaval.

That is rotten about the job Wingo - hope you are lucky soon.

DD has a school dance tonight so yet more running about with her - still they get their hols tomorrow.

Good afternoon all

Had a busy morning, had to get some cards sent off as well as an ebay parcel and my best mates present, was DREADING the post office BUT it was near enough emptyy with FOUR staff working normally only 2 staff and a massive line lol but thats all sorted now

You would of all laughed thou was wrapping present for friend but LO was getting in the way, he wanted to go with the present so sat in the middle of the wrapping paper lol and then got to post office and realised i hadn't wrote the address on the parcel for the ebay item LOL at self, you can tell i was in a rush

Now LO is down for a nap i can get some comping done

Well done on any wins i've missed, hugs to all that need them and lots of luck to all

Hope all is well,I played some online games today.I am having a day of rest today and got up too late to go to walking group so have stayed in all morning,having lunch soon then afterwards off to Asda for a look around.

Football tickets? Shame....... only joking, I'm not interested in football so that would have been disappointing for me.

Retirement is very pleasant thank you Wingo I just can't get my head around the fact that there are no deadlines to meet. It's it's like being on holiday from work and every now and then I think 'When do I go back?' and then it hits me.....I don't!

My parcels arrived along with one for my OH, Lord knows what he's bought now. One was disappointing, I ordered a new collar for the dog with our surname and phone number on and it's way too small for him I'll just have to get another dog

ETA - Just had an email to say I've won a Blu Ray Player with Look magazine, excellent
