Thank God I worked the way that I did then. I tend to go back through the board each day saving the comps that I fancy into monthly folders then sort those by name which puts them into date order, I then enter comps from them. Every time I came across one ending 31/12 I brought the end date forward into earlier December. Probably why I can't get ahead now, but I'll be glad of it at the end of the month.

Everyone else seems to be far more organised than me with the comps!

Just finished wrapping my kids presents - really surprising how many were prizes or bought with vouchers. I remember last year reading about other peeps winning Xmas and feeling jealous so really pleased with myself.

Im not organised with them sheils. I am terrible. I comp my way through what has been posted in the day ad then at night try and do some of the end date ones I have missed.

I need to catch up a bit i think. Will have to get up early Thurs and comp before work :D

Comping more or less paid for Christmas last year. In the month before OH and I won 3 netbooks between us which we sold for £250 each to colleagues.

Remember you winning the laptops Sue. I didn't win one although I entered all the time. DD is away to her school dance wearing a Lipsy dress I won in a Vimto Hamper set! Also won the set of 4 dresses from Asos for her and she is wearing one of those for her Candlemas Ball in February so its surprising how much money I am saving.

My Daughter won the ASOS dresses too, they were lovely, but not her style. She sold them on EBay and bought a Monsoon dress for her cruise that she won. When you look back, you wonder how you coped before starting this.

  • I am so envious of you all an your amazing wins but at same time happy that such nice people got some extra treats they probably wouldn't have had otherwise.

I haven't been doing this that long really but still am really happy with my wins :D the little things all mount up and come in useful for presents or even every day to day life.

Your time will come I'm sure, just when you're least expecting it. I think that's where so many people give up, they expect to win and there really is no guarantee that you will. As long as you're happy with the little wins you have the incentive to keep going. I love receiving a mascara or bag of nuts in the post, it makes my day.

It is lovely not to have to buy make-up! DD would get a shock if she had to buy it too. She has given her pals "Models Inc" nail varnishes in their Xmas presents that I won earlier in the year. One of them looked it up on Amazon and was shocked it was on offer at £11. DD just said " I got them cheaper than that" !
