Gosh its quiet in here! Has everyone been Xmas shopping? We took DD to get the last of her prezzies today - she is quite organised unlike her brother who has nothing done! Having a big family buffet on Friday so we were trying to organize stuff for that. DS2 says he will cook the Xmas meal so we should have an easy time this year! (Hope I will still manage to sneak a few glasses of wine before the meal.)

I've just popped in Sheils, been to gymnastics with girls and then hubby took kids to his mums for dinner so I asked my mum if I can have a bath at hers and dad done my dinner when I got there! feel much better now I've had hot bath. Hope they fix my boiler tomorrow, been off since Tuesday night!

Melvis, glad you had a good family get together last night, love it when all the family comes together.
I think we'll have snow by tomorrow, temp as really dropped here again!

Just had pre christmas buffet with OH, inlaws and my dad and his gf. am stuffed now though

Got my xmas prezzie off work. Bottle of wine and a tin of cookies. Not too bad for free

OH has hospital in London tomorrow and I am working overtime. Hate him going on his own

I know how you feel about the Hospital and going alone. I think my worst ever day was when my OH was in a hospital about 15 miles away waiting for a bypass op. He rang me at lunchtime to tell me he had been moved to Kings in London and was having the op the next day. He was really emotional and it was so hard being so far away and knowing how scared he was.

I have been there for every op (and worried myself sick) but when he was in for a few days in summer i hated leaving him when visiting time was over. I used to go to every appointment with him but since moving jobs in June I cant get the right days off. Although to be honest he deals with it far better than me. Although if there was anything major I would get myself there even if it means a panic attack on the tube

Stopping at inlaws tonight so hardly done any comps. Only the times one and the original source game

Hope all goes well for OH Becks. Just went and had another look at the OS Comp and got 86th I think. O'h well thats the highest I've ever got! :rotfl:
Just as well I'm luckier at other comps.
O'h well thats the last "Times" entry done so off to bed now. x

Dawn of another week. Hope you all get lucky. Think I entered a lot ending today and tomorrow so fingers crossed.

Hope work is busy as with being on overtime i do not want to be sat bored.

I've still ill as anything but day goes on as they say....I'm starting the xmas baking presents today so least have something yummy to eat as of course each needs tasting doesnt it lol

LO still got a cold bless him but hes still eating n drinking fine so least hes still himself with it unlike me who wants to go back to bed lol

We got to see Santa yday JUST 2nd to last in so good job didn't go 5mins later, he wasn't sure of him to start with but soon fine and gave santa a massive smile as we left bless him.

Now 15mins more b4 first batch out over lol

Hope you and LO are better soon Jane. And glad he had a smile for Santa in the end. Most little kids cry for the first few times.

Think it is wet outside but hopefully that means the ice is melting as pavements were like skate rinks last night. Off to work in ten minutes. OH should be at the hospital now. Feels so far away him beig in London but at least work will make me think of something else. Today is only routine anyway.

Thanks I've managed to get the shortbread and fudge done so all not lost of the day but I feel horrid just want my bed lol

LO has been put done for a nap he can't get pass 11.30 atm without needing a nap poor boy. Thought he was gonna cry to start with but he was ok once Santa started to speak lol

I'm sure all will go fine with your OH, sending you a hug
