Hi all

We had our annual family Christmas party last night so I've had a busy few days sorting the house out/shopping/cooking etc .... some of Mr M's family came (a few less than usual due to recent births etc) and sat in the kitchen having a drink ..... and then my family came (there's only a handful of them anyway) and they all sat in the living room watching the Strictly final :eek: they looked like the Royle Family :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Poor Mr M ended up having a 12 hour shift at work yesterday and another today so we've been up since 5 :eek::eek: I'm pooped! :rotfl::rotfl: so my plan for today is sofa/TV/comps ... I haven't even finished tidying up after the party yet but no rush

Just 4 more days left at work then It's Chriiiiiiiiiiisssssssssstmas :j:j xx

Just had a parecl delivery, on a Sunday! It was whisked away before I saw it so it was a pressie for me, hope there's a normal post later too

I've only ever had a delivery on a Sunday once and that was last year when there was a massive backlog cos of the snow and it was mainly play.com parcels that I'd been waiting for for about 3 weeks :rotfl::rotfl:

I had a parcel delivery too but it was from a Home Delivery van. It was a cardigan for DD that I got with Littlewoods voucher. It was delayed so DD really pleased they finally got supplies back in.

Quick question - hope this is the right place to ask:
Is there a run down of what some of the abbreviations are that people use on this board?
I had a quick scan round but found nothing. I know OH is other half but there are a few that leave me confused!

DH = Dear Husband
DD = Dear Daughter
DS = Dear Son
WEM = Winning e-mail
LEM = Losing e-mail
