Just landed after a morning of Christmas fair and being taken out for a posh lunch. OS is taking over as I enjoyed my lunch (and being waited on) but spent the time pricing up the ingredients and working out what I would have saved doing it at home. And I wasn't even paying! Also, TKMax has just opened a store on the Island so I went for a mooch round. Veerryy nice. But I didn't spend a penny, how restrained is that?:money:
Lunch filled us up so much that we don't want tea.

Flutterby: Wow! What a trip. Enough memories to last a lifetime.

HH: How I understand about the jeans question. In jeans I look like a badly stuffed cushion and feel like the Incredible Hulk just before he bursts out of his skin.:eek::eek:

RR: Good for you for getting on your Dad's case about the food. My Dad lost two and a half stone in about 5 weeks in hospital and it is terrifying to see your loved one getting frailer by the day. I was told that I could go in to feed him at mealtimes - a round trip of 5 hours!

All of you lot obsessed with sausages and KY jelly: Enough! Stop it! Some of us have dignity to maintain.:o:o:o:o

I do mean NPM, she went above and beyond the realms of chicken husbandry involving a soft shell egg, some latex gloves and KY Jelly.

Can I say it's lovely that you are posting again Richard :)

For your disappointment I had cottage pie for tea in the end. Will save sausage for another night :p

Talking about sausage, Co-op sell some lovley ones under there own co-op brsand! They sell them two packs for £6 most of the time. When we go in we always pick some up. well worth trying some if there is a co-op near you.
:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j

Some folk lowering the tone again I see!! Good to see you posting again Halight and belated birthday wishes to Sistercas.

FB your trip sounds fantastic, I enjoyed Sydney too and would like to go back sometime to spend more time there. Also thought Singapore was awesome. You will have many happy memories, hold onto them.

Hugs to those with worries and RR you will have to keep on at the care home to feed your Dad properly.

Was very tired today after yesterday's celebrations and my knees are sore from wearing heels (feel like a real old codger!). It was Fundraising Friday at school today so hard work all day. I think I tested most of the baking so wont need anything to eat for quite some time.

Having a very chilled Friday, no OS apart from filling the dishwasher with stuff from the cupboards that needs a bit of a wash. Will try harder tomorrow!

Have a good weekend, take care. XX

Woohoo, I have fairy lights round my gazebo, all ready for the DGC & foster DGC to see on Sunday.
Tesco have delivered so I have all the food ready for Sunday, tomorrow will be housework & cooking.
Talking of sausages, my beloved has been avoiding playing 'Hide the Sausage' for a while now, when I asked why, it seems the poor chap thought he had a rash, in fact he has Fordyce's spots, he's always had them, but only just noticed!
    Bye for now.
    Hugs Hester
