    Morning All

Just spotted on FB that Diva's ashes are going to be scattered at 3pm today. A very purple day.

Lou What can I say, you have told us fibs, you said the drinking was not alcoholic, now you are admitting it is and you have a secret stash. To move on you must get rid of the secret stash and stop the drinking, nothing can work for you until you do that. No we have not given up on you, but we are there with you, but YOU must be here with us too. If for no-one else you must work on this for your LO. ((hugs))

Cloudy but mild here, going to see the Anderton Boat Lift shortly. Tea tonight is F&C get together.

BB I have changed to Google Chrome, loads much faster, checks your spelling automatically, much easier than IE.

Take care all, and (((hugs))), Hi-5's, Spoons and Positive Vibes as required. DG

  • Just popping on to say hello to Lou. :hello:

I'm not going to give you a hug as you don't like them, and I'm not going to tell you what to do as you'll do the opposite! :p

Just wanted to lend some support and also to say that I can see you have a lot of support from the ladies and gents on this thread. Just try to remember that there are people who care about you, all hoping you can get better. You're in my thoughts. :)

    Hi all

Flutterby silly girl of course we're interested! I'm not on Facebook, so couldn't follow your adventures there, so I'm really pleased to read what you've been up to. It all sounds fantastic - considering even a trip to Belgium for me involves mega amounts of planning, checking, double-checking and stress, I can't ever imagine doing a trip like that, so it's great to read about yours.:o

Hester I don't do jeans either; I gave mine to the RSPCA shop after I lost 2 and a half stones, and they fell down over my bum, even when they were done up, and I haven't bothered replacing them.:D

julieg - do you not have the number for the day assessment unit? that way you can by-pass gp. mideife should have given it you or you can get it from her.

hi all - nothing to say really. its all in my blog :o
Yes you do - you just offered JG a useful suggestion!:o

Good! I agree with DG, you have to ditch the wretched stuff to move on. Trust me, I know what I'm talking about, because I've been there. I've sat and drunk 3 bottles of HM wine, and more, night after night. Thankfully, not for the last nine and a half years, but yes, I've been in that situation. I stopped it; I know you can, too. <Wolfy strength vibes> on their way to you.:o

Now - do I do veggie bangers'n'mash for dins, or do I do Quorn fillets in HM sauce with chips? Decisions, decisions..... whichever it is, I have to prep the spuds myself, because I forgot to ask Mr LW to do them last night.

*Looks at clock* Ooh, it's coming up to midday - I better get a sandwich. C'mon Lou, join me please, I don't like to eat alone.:o

:A aww LW! TBH I'm totally amazed that I did it all by myself, and didn't get lost! :rotfl: Only had one minor disaster when Quantas was grounded and I had to rebook a flight but it was all ok in the end.

I'll try post a link to my pics later for the non-FB members, can't use flickr as I have about 1200 and that's too much to upload in a month! :rotfl:

MMM I want veggie bangers and mash now! :) Think you have decided on my tea, unless something else takes my fancy in tesco later. I need to eat too now so will join you all on the sandwich front. Luckily thanks to my OSness I had frozen rolls and cheese in the freezer so took the out this morning to defrost in time for lunch.

    Hi everyone,

Long time no post. Partly because I've been really busy, partl;y because OS had gone a bit out of the window.

Anyway, I now feel qualified to post because I've got myself back on track. I've been dabbling with bread making for a while but hadn't been happy with the results. Then I bought Dan Lepard's book, Short and Sweet and it's really helped, I can now make a loaf that I'm thrilled with.

I've also taken up my patchwork again and am making some Christmas table mats, using some material I've had for ages.

I know a lot of you have been having a tough time, so I hope things get better.

    Hi All,
I haven't been on here since Tuesday so I haven't caught up with you all. I've been so busy setting myself tasks and completing them. I have cleaned 14 windows and 3 double patio doors, vacumed all the stone walls, mowed the lawn, ironed every item from the mountain, and done loads of cooking.
Having an easier day because I had a Hosp app at 1.30 for an ultrasound scan. When I fell down the stairs I was x-rayed and they found a black spot on my Kidney. The scan was to see if it was a kidney stone, it wasn't. So more appointments looming to find out what it is.
    Thinks possative !
The Solar panels finally arived today ready to be fitted on Tuesday, DH and DNephew are still working their butts off replacing the new roof.
Made them a sos and egg pie for their lunch, dinner tonight is Lamb Shanks, mash & broccoli.
    Off to catch up.
REDRUBY, Good on your Sis for taking action for your DDad's health.
FLUTTER, We have been out there and did most of the things you did. Glad to hear you had a fab time.
  • Bitsy! can`t believe you are telling us all that you are having an early night involving sausage!!;):p
