Got 4 bags of shopping the other day for £16 all different bits and bobs

10 minutes to sort it out and a long line of annoyed people behind me its going to take me a while to get my fella into home bargains again

I used to have the same problem with my OH when I did Asda ad match and the cashier didn't know how to do it! He looked like he wished the floor would swallow him up :rotfl:

Anyway yesterday (Saturday) HB in Llandudno had those pogo balls for £4.99 (ball in the middle and a platform around the outside to stand on - then you bounce up and down) and they had the cadbury chickens (thick choccy and full of buttons) for 99p
;) If you think you are too small to make a difference, try getting in bed with a mosquito!

    Hi,

Have been into Home Bargains in Harborne, Birmingham today...

25cl (1/3 full bottle) Hardys Semillon Chardonnay or Shiraz - 5 bottles for £5

The difference with these is that they're in plastic bottles, with a glass that is the cap see HERE and HERE - perfect for picnics, small drinkers, people who can't be !!!!!d with washing up, and MSE'ers - works out loads cheaper than a full bottle of wine.

Also they had some full size Wolf Blass for £2.50, both the white & the red - also in plastic bottles - see article HERE

They also had lots of Floaties brand swimming nappies (didn't look at the price), and also the Floaties Swimmate for just £1.99! Available in John Lewis for £14.95

Finally - Chupa Chups Sugar Free Lollipops - smaller than the average lolly (better for toddlers) and I think they were about 19p for a packet of 6

  • This may not be a nice subject, but it has to be done, especially as Summer is round the corner :D I have really horrid dry heels and have tried all sorts. (Boots, Body shop you name it) HB has in some Vesagex heel balm, which promises noticable impovements in three days, Yer right I thought as I handed over my £1.49. Honestly it's just brill, and smells lovely :j

OOps I got the price wrong, it's actually £1.99 but still worth every penny.!!
Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker :)
