Last time I was in there- there was a guy who was being dragged round by his misses all I could hear him saying was "I don't see how they can sell this stuff that cheap"- I do feel sorry for those who don't have one nearby- I take a selection of real bargains to my sisters when I visit- love playing the "guess how much this was" game with her- bought one of those "supermops" that were advertised on satellite channels and a fab little floor duster thingy - works a treat on hardwood floors for £2, and 6 creme eggs for 99p too good to miss, too many bargains to list- gets my vote for shop of the year-( if there was such a vote).

Anyone notice if they still sell the large canvas pictures with roses on, they did them in cream and red at the Bradford branch....there's lots on ebay and going for too much so they must be selling them somewhere

They had some in the Consett branch on Thursday.

i think you will find they are closed as retail outlets dont have a choice on easter sunday even the garden centres have to close.

This was posted yesterday, so OP meant is it open today (saturday)

HB in Llandudno and Colwyn Bay are both selling 1.5l bottles of Schweppes Winter Blend Lemonade for 10p. Use by date is April 08 so you've got just over a month to drink it.

Got 4 bags of shopping the other day for £16 all different bits and bobs

got diet coke bottles and coke zero bottles the glass ones for 29p


Only problem was it went through at 39 as the guy on the till had asked the girl behind him and she handed him the slip for the wrong code which he put through and threw away

No I said its only 29p so I went to check the tickets I was right so he got a supervisor who checked the tickets he needed the code he had put through so he went though a bag of rubbish he had next to him couldnt find it and I said could you not just refund the 40p

No they had to cancel the whole thing and I had to give all my shopping back and have it put through again

10 minutes to sort it out and a long line of annoyed people behind me its going to take me a while to get my fella into home bargains again

I think you will find they were asking about Good Friday opening as the 20th was Thursday. :D
