support tights (maternity)

My girlfriend has decided to use support tights during her pregnancy as she suffers from slight varicous vein problems (she might continue wearing them after as well if they work). We have been to several shops, and found the selection very limited, some not stocking her size, others her colour (M+S, Asda, morrisons etc) She ended up buying full support tights from Asda. The trouble is both pairs laddered and holed within a couple of uses. does anyone know of a decent quality pair that will last a while.
She needs full support (10) black tights.
She is also thinking of getting maternity support tights, as regular tights are getting uncomfortable. again, can anyone a good place to buy from.
Cheers

What about flight socks to help thrombosis? My mum bought me a pack when i had a 13 hr flight. They were from boots, pack of 2, but i dont know how much. I guess they would have various sizes and colours. Mine came up to the knee and looked like denier tights. I wore them underneath trousers and normal socks. Good luck.0
