missed my ups delivery today the nearest collection point is Tamworth which is miles away so will have to wait until monday for redelivery

my processing date was 20/01/12
anyone know how i check what model im getting from the serial number?

My replacement Ipod arrived yesterday 1st March, my product replacement pending date was the 10th Jan.

I think its a 6th generation, its very small and square but doesn't actually say anywhere ! I know its 8gb though.

I now need to find the instructions to download !

Had mine today. Shame it's the new 6th generation one. Probably the poorest of the lot. Too small, no camera, no video playback, no speakers.

Oh well, ok for nothing seeing as my old one wasn't even working!

I wondered how to check this too but go here: https://selfsolve.apple.com/GetWarranty.do

...and put the new serial number in that apple will provide in your email. Select United Kingdom from the drop down box and at the top of the next page, it will confirm the model.

6th gen for me too - should be here next week :T
