p.s they offer you a price and then you send the phone, they test it and if there are any problems they give you a counter offer you can then accept or decline. They will then either process and send you a cheque or send your phone back (this is how it works with Cash4Phones anyway) x
Thanks emma, thats really usefull :-) will dig out the charger later).. i guess you just clear everything off first.. fab

Thank you very much.....Even if I only pay a little bit off at a time I'm determined to get rid of at least THIS Debt because it's the one that is the most painful for me!!
Let's all go for this!! :T0 -
can i ask for some advice? im currently with cccs and paying token payments to my cards and debts at the moment. OH is trying to do as much overtime as possible and i would like to chip away a bit more at the debts when and as i can..(things change monthly) hence the token payment is the regular payment i can afford. What would you do in my circumstance as i dont want to make token payments forever and want to see the debts go down..0

How long have you been on your DMP Cherry? I am also on a DMP with CCCS. I have been on it for about 18 months and also am making token payments. It is only now that I feel that I can start trying to get debts paid off sooner. By sticking to my budget with CCCS I have seen where we don't spend the money allocated per month. EG Dentist, School Trips, Emergency Fund
In the past 18 months we have just treated ourselves with any extra money we have had!! I have decided that I want to try to pay my debt off sooner than the estimated date that CCCS have given me (April 2017!) We used to rob peter to pay paul, we are now managing ok but we can't wait till we can live again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Debt Free Date 1st August 2016 Sealed Pot Challenge #140 -

Thanks so much for your reply much appreciated.. and i know no quite the right thread to have this on..but it feels safe in here :rotfl:
Ive been with them since september 2010.. and the fantastic news is alot of the priority debts have now come right down.. it feels such a relief.. i thought the council were going to drag me out if my house by my hair last year..was far too scary..cccs have been wondefull and i clear my arrears with council tax in 3 months time. Natwest have written me today asking for another financial statement to be filled in ( i was going to wait to speak with cccs about this) I like you was doing the same.. and i finally feel back in control and altho not debt free it feels so much better (i now sleep at night).. it would be nice to pay the catalogue one off in full..0
