I had a letter today from B/ card telling me of important changes........... my interest charge was going up from 19.9% apr to 22% apr thankfully I have cleared that account.......... havent closed it waiting to see when they offer a 0% balance transfer.......which will tally up with my N/wide one ending ..............

Two mornings now and I haven't been able to PAD anything over to the carp 1 card :eek: The withdrawals will start to kick in soon

Good Morning

It's Monday and the bank account is moving again. Direct Debit came out this morning so managed to PAD a titchy 0.62p onto the credit card. Not much, but at least I'm another 62p closer to debt freedom

Hi all
Right, I have really lost my way with all your posts!!!!! Could I ask that you all please give me the full amounts you have paid and your new balances. I will update the list with these totals and will really focus on this thread from now on. I must admit, I have lost my way a little with the debt busting as well so am going to be on here daily from now on for inspiration. On a plus note, I am waiting for my PPI claim to be paid off my Natwest debts and when it is I will have 3 debts settled. YIPPEE:j:j

Hi Emily,

Just to bring you up to date. I have completely paid off my original Freemans debt :j and am now working towards getting rid of my Capital One credit card by the end of the year.
Managed to PAD another £2.36 over to it this morning so it now stands at

Emily, it is easy to lose your path when there are more important things going on, it takes time to deal with loss. It is good to have you back here and I hope you are ok!

Credit Card £320 / £4000

I have a utilities bill that is due February so this needs to be priority also I want to pay my mum a little back next month, however we have just found out DH company isn't doing too well so his shifts might be changing in next month or so - that combined with my maternity means less money to throw at debts Just when you think you are making headway something else rears it's ugly head.

PPI - I think I am going to have a look at this because I know for certain I have 2 paid loans, 1 unpaid loan (in dmp) and various credit cards etc also in dmp ... however I know my loan in dmp has £800 ppi on there which I never requested so i'll give it a whirl - anything that can help me reduce the debts is a help!

Also going to get back into doing the surverys and daily clicks ... see if I can get my income up a bit more

Payday at long last - seems like years since I got paid, not just 5 weeks. I've paid another £124 towards my student loan - a total of £248 now. Hoping it'll be paid by the end of March.
