Pay One Debt 2012!

  • Freebyfifty - You make so much sense there! I think that is probably best - I really do sound silly now, but I thought you could only pay CC's once a month??

I'll send more payments to them then and get that "tidied" up :)

I have my last payment on another loan in February, so will have £48.33 extra in my account (whoop whoop!) so the plan was to pay an extra £48.33 to the CC and get that down!

Then (i've been trying to cut everything down) my mobile phone is expiring in March, so I have been moving my tariff down and down throughout my contract, and plan on going from £26 a month (it was £57 last year!) to £15.50 through Orange (30 days sim only, 300 mins/unltd texts) I can't find anything cheaper than that and PAYG works out more expensive for me... So that £9.50 can also go towards the CC or into a savings account....

Hope all are having a great day :j xx
2012 is my year to battle my CC and get rid of as much as possible...
    £2.93 / £2917 :)

A few more tiny payments over the last week by tidying the bank accounts and withdrawing from cash back sites means that I have repaid a total of £118.69 leaving only £256.49 left to go! #67

I will pay off a further £33.00 tomorrow as I have had to open the loose change jar as it is full already. It's all in bags ready to go to the bank on my way into work.

    Not silly at all :)

I'm hoping all this tidying up I'm doing will make a difference some day.

  • Freebyfifty - well if we don't make it to the millions, we'll be one debt less at least!! :j

I like the idea of a loose change jar, do you literally put all loose change in or something like anything under 50p (coin value wise)? I'll have to start that!!

Hope you all have a great day today!! xx

I have a 'dross jar' that everything under 50p goes into and I have a sealed tin thingy that I am saving my 50p's in. I dip into the dross jar occasionally but I am determined not to open the tin until it is completely full :)
