Can I ask what "PADing" is?? Sorry to sound daft.... xx
I'm sorry -there are so many abbreviations on this site
PAD is 'payment a day'. I don't really do it properly. I think you're meant to do what it says on the tin and make a small payment to a debt everyday but I make a payment whenever my bank account needs tidied up. I like my account to sit with a balance ending in a round £5 or £10 so whenever something comes out I 'tidy it up' by paying the odd figures over to the debt I'm working to clear.
I hope that makes some kind of sense??????Free by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
Hellooo!
Thank you all who answered my query on "PADing" lol have you ever tried "googling" it?? It just comes up with the patronising, "did you mean, padding...?" lol honestly!
That is a great idea! If I shift the pennies to another account to keep it tidy, I can then use that to pay off my CC in addition to my monthly payment - how does that sound? Is that what you do? :j
I feel so much better and inspired to dig out things to put on e-bay, I have so many CD's that I can put on there or music magpie, and I have a £6.20 coming for 2 mobile phones that have been kicking round the house (I now view it as money in the drawer!). When that comes i'll put that in my "PAD" account so I can add that to my monthly CC payment.
Thank you to everyone for being so lovely and I wish you all a "wicked Wednesday"!!
xx2012 is my year to battle my CC and get rid of as much as possible...£2.93 / £2917Here's to a brighter, less stressed future!0 -
Good Morning,
Pinkposy - I pay my little bits direct to my debt using online banking. On the Carpital one card I'm paying off now, I plan to make a huge overpayment on top of the minimum payment on payday and then PAD the extra bits through the month - just to keep them busy reallyIf they want my money they'll have to work for it :rotfl:I would put it in another account but I don't trust myself that it will stay there
I know myself too well
And just to tidy up my account again, and to give the Carp 1 people something to do today, I paid another £3.50 to the ccard this morning
