  • Emily, nice to see you back .

Things have temporary stalled at my end. The debt collection company i owe money to have closed for the hols, so i can't do anything until the New Year . Will have to resist the temptation to spend the cash.....

    Well done everyone so far.

    Have a lovely weekend :).

    Thanks Karb,

want to have ccard paid off which was €2466, paid money off it today as got paid early for xmas. So want to get rid of it!!!! Sick of credit cards now:mad:, or my lack of self control!!

going to get my finger out and work really hard to be debt free asap!!

    Hi guys,

have made some head way into the credit card debt, this is actually 2 cards. I have cleared one completely now, so just have €1665 owing on the remaining one now. Plus received some money of a client for xmas and reduce o/draft by €50, so it is now €350.

Feels so good to see the amount going down for once. Plus have taken cards out of my purse so I won't be tempted.

I have a debt of £3600 on a credit card at interest free for 20 months but due to tight funds, wont be able to clear it in that time, let alone in 12 months. By creating a very tight budget and renting out my garage from January, I will be able to pay off £100 a month, or £1200 by the end of 2012 - although I am going to aim higher at £1500 by surveys, competitions etc. That way, when the time comes to grab a new balance transfer deal in around 18months time, I wont have a scarily huge amount glaring at me from a shiny new card.
Total debts at start of 2012: £6000 CC (0% int.)
2012 paid off target: £1700/£1500 :rotfl:
    Total debt paid: £1800/£6000 :T

    Hi e4rub,

Add me please, i owe some bigger debt's but my smallest is eBay selling fees with £10.19p, I've owed this since April 2011 as i had fraud committed on my bank account. My dispute was with Ebay and Paypal.

I'm starting with my smallest debt and working upwards on the bigger ones.

When this is paid i can start using eBay again to earn some money.
