I have huge debts and always throw myself into the big challenges but fail because it seems so overwhelming.

I think breaking the debt into smaller chunks will help me to pay things off a little more quickly as I won't get bored or frustrated.

My first debt to pay off will be

£200 - pay back family member

When you are up to it I would love to join this challenge, I have been waiting for something like this to come along.
My first and smallest debt is Next - £65. Hopefully won't take me too long to get rid of it.

I haven't posted for quite some time and I seem to have slipped back into bad habits, so I think this thread could be just what I need if it's ok to join you? I'm going to aim for my two lowest debts to be paid off in 2012, starting with my Dorothy Perkins card. The current balance is £221.07.

Early payday, so early update this month.

I've managed to clear my debt to my dad in one hit, hurrah! I was planning to pay of £50 per month to him and an extra £50 off my credit card each month, but felt so much better actually ticking off one of the debts in one hit!

I underestimated the start balance on my Credit Card though, so not all good news, but that's the next challenge to tackle.

Well I just paid £10 to my Next account. I only joined this challenge yesterday and am so motivated, so thankyou.
Only £55 to go and my first debt will be gone :j:j:j
