I have just re-read my post from last night, I knew I was dead on my feet and medicated to the eyeballs but hadn't realised how much. My goodness that killed the English language.

Popping in to update my total which now stands at £430.39 so I am well over my target of £384. My challenge ends on Sunday and I will only need some beer for DH and maybe some more blue milk even though I bought 4 pints last night as DS drinks it like it is going out of fashion.

The good news is that I have only shopped once this week, the bad news is I left it so late we ran out of stuff for lunches and I had to spend £2.50 on lunch at work.:o

I have enough in to make quite a few meals and lunches, well until about Wednesday next week! I have a bag of spuds and one of onions and plenty of qu0rn mince so I wil be making, chilli, shepherds pie and lasagne as well as a pasta bake or 2....oooo that's nearly a weeks worth of meals.

My spends this week do include £6.70 on a take away we bought to celebrate DH getting a big bonus that will arrive on Christmas Eve:D:D
    Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
    Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
    Make £2021 extra income - £99.75

Didn't manage to keep away from the shops yesterday, but really pleased with myself for managing to get just what I wanted and not allowing any extras to jump into my trolly :)
So, £9.90 spent in MrT on milk, rolls, liver sausage, spam and pain killers.
    Today will be a NSD.

  • Hi everyone, hope all are well as I'm afraid I've lost track of the thread and haven't managed to keep up:o.

Doing OK - spends of £32.09 @ Mr T last Saturday and £9.01 today bringing me to £63.23 / £150

However, very small spends today down to no chilled stuff at all - my fridge/freezer packed in last Sunday:(. I have ordered a new one but it doesn't arrive until Friday so am having to keep stuff in the garage & therefore running stocks down & not replacing atm.... not ideal.

Also means that I'll probably have to hit the sm to restock on fresh stuff on Christmas Eve :eek: (oh, joy ... am I looking forward to that!) so will have a fairly big spend then.

A few small spend this week for me but nothing too drastic, my total is now 222.53. I have a few items to get but that should be fairly cheap and tomorrow is my last day of this months challenge.
    Take care all

I have got one of the coupons from the dm for use in Aldi. I was thinking about getting the four bird roast with 30% off, however I wont eat it only my husband will. After it has been cooked do you think it would be ok to freeze some portions of it for later meals?

    thank you for any advice?
